My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am the feminist daughter of a librarian, which helped me develop into a bookworm. I can be a bit of a nerd, and socially awkward at times. I'm a hopeless romantic and wear my heart on my sleeve. I am a Texan who moved up to Chicago six years ago. That being said, I'm ready for a new adventure. And I am currently plotting a move to Portland. That being said, at this current time I'm only looking for new friends.

I've been feeling a little discouraged by this site, or maybe its just dating in general.

I am in search of meaningful interaction and connections.

Side note, I've notice that their is an epidemic of headless dudes missing shirts and pants on this site. We should start a foundation to get their heads returned, and also get them a pair pants and shirt.

I love vintage fashion from the 30's, 40's and 50's. I just started taking swing dance lessons.

If you have a Handlebar or Imperial mustache I'm already smitten by you.

I have a crush on Matt Berninger.

I am fascinated by tiny house, prefab homes, and tree houses.

I have been told that I am a bit of a music and film snob, but I call it knowing what I like. I bake when stressed out. Music is a big part of my life, one-day hope to meet someone who I can merge my music collection with.

I have a soft spot for 80's light rock.

Sometimes I toy with the idea of starting a bluegrass band or a punk group with a 60's girl group twist.

While I love going to my favorite bar, shows, and dancing away at my favorite northern soul night. I tend to have the most fun doing crafts or reading at home, with Netflix or music in the background.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I volunteer at a animal shelter, and do work with lgbtqa youth. I spend my free time trying my hand at making comics. Listening to music while cuddled up with a book (I'm good at pairing the right album or playlist, with whatever book I'm reading). Taking burlesque classes. Working on zines. Going to shows and galleries. I do a lot of baking, and just started making my own preserve.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty good listener and conversationalist. I'm that person people call late at night with an issue, and ends up staying up with them until the wee hours of the night.

I have a knack for turning awkward situations into something to laugh at; it’s a skill that has taken me years to prefect.

I've become pretty awesome in the kitchen and turning non-vegan recipes vegan.

Dancing like no one is watching. In fact the quickest way to my heart is going with me to The Green Mill, Windy City Soul, or Neo.

Oh, and I’m pretty awesome at creating road trip playlist.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told my smile. Followed by my awesome glasses. I'm usually wearing an outfit that consist of some band shirt, paired with a hoodie or sweater and skirt. Trying not to be noticed but ended up laughing at some joke I overhear.
