I am creative, observant, and curious.

My Self-Summary

If I were a shape-like thing, I'd be a squiggly line. Yea, I'm a big girl, but that just means there's more cushion for the pushin', right? --crickets chirp-- Ehehe...heh... guess not. I'm pretty talkative, and I like other talkative people. Most of the conversations I have are laced with sarcasm and odd provocative (A.K.A. lewd) humor. I'm a lazy environmentalist. I say this only so that I can sound like I have a conscience when I confess that I am not a humanitarian by any means.

I'm a student at UWF, but I hail from Orlando and visit it a few times a year.

I'm not really looking for my soulmate or anything. Just people to talk to, hang out with and and maybe some casual dating (no, that's not code for whore myself out).

My deviantart: thenotadrienne.deviantart.com
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/thenotadrienne (I don't have any videos uploaded, I have it so I can save the videos I like. It's good for guaging what I think is funny and what my music preferences are, though of course it doesn't cover everything.)

(I am now shamefaced. I spelled 'gauging' as 'guaging' and only caught it after reviewing my profile for the umpteenth time. That sneaky bastard always messes with me!)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently getting my Bachelor's in Environmental Policy. A.K.A. I'm working on my degree in RULING THE WORLD, BOHAHAHAHA! One clubbed baby seal at a time. (That's meant to be ironic... my whole impetus for getting my degree is save the Amazon. Thank you Captain Planet.)

I’m really good at

Creating and diffusing awkward situations. Editing, because I'm a grammar nazi. Finding the sexual connotation in everything. Finding the humor in everything. Recognizing photo opportunities. Nonsensically making sense. Being vague. Being thorough. Thinking out of the cylinder.

The first things people usually notice about me

I usually look quiet and conservative. And then I laugh, and the onlookers realize that deep down, I'm a maniacal half-octopus, mad-scientist villain.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Authors: I like Gena Showalter'd Lords of the Underworld series, because she mixes violence and a mythology-based plot with stereotypical romance. The romance aspect is starting to make me want to gouge my eyes out, but... I'm a sucker for an interesting plot... stupid plot...
Old Laurell K. Hamilton, because gore is fun.
Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, Pablo Neruda, Jim Butcher...

Books: [The Seven Mysteries of Life: An Exploration of Science and Philosophy],Watchmen, House of Leaves, The Wheel of Time series etc. When I was a kid, I loved Animorphs and Goosebumps. I have a goodreads account for this list, lol.

Movies: the Saw series (i laughed my pants off), Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Monty Python movies, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mario Bros, Reefer Madness, Zombie Honeymoon, The Hangover, The Darjeeling Limited, I heart Huckabees. B movies, gory movies, sarcastic movies, existential movies, 'I wasted two hours of my life watching this shit' movies

Music: I like pretty much everything except religious music and hardcore rap. Nerdcore and Wizardrock are fun, but so is hip-hop and 90's music. Examples: Tenacious D, Modest Mussorgsky, Modest Mouse, Vitas, Busta Rhymes, Al Stewart, Elton John, Voltaire, Scissor Sisters, Teriyaki Boyz, Schaeffer the DarkLord, Men At Work...

Food: I like a lot of cuisines. I love spicy stuff like chile relleno and wasabi. I think wasabi is sweet and therefore slather it on my sushi and sashimi.

I'm pretty sure I could fill up a Blue Whale with all the books I've read and movies I like and a whole bunch of other stuff about me (if my personality and character traits had density, that is...), so I think I'll spare myself the task of listing it all.

The six things I could never do without

1)The internet.
2)My laptop.
3)A good laugh.
4)People that are worse off than me that help me feel better about myself. (ah, humor...)
5)The great outdoors
6)education (cuz itz liek the coolist)
7)google (bonus!)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Plots. I write to an unhealthy extent.
Sexy bodies... who doesn't?
Books I've read and want to read.
How to procrastinate better.
Analyzing everything.
Ignoring everything.
The humor in everything.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out at the movies, laughing my ass off.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

The other day I forgot I'm 22.

You should message me if

You're good at keeping a conversation going!

You have the sneaking suspicion that my profile could be quite a bit more thorough and therefore you demand retribution!

(You know, there are so many 'ifs' I could put on here that would potentially drive people away, it's not funny. It's hilarious.)
