At this point, I'm fairly convinced OKCupid is worthless for guys trying to date other guys in Louisville, because not all guys who say they are into guys on this website, actually want to date a guy. Darn bisexuals. Also, there's like, 15 gays in Louisville. Joy.

I'm a senior at the University of Louisville studying English and Humanities. That takes up a lot of my time, but I enjoy coffeeshops, writing, being goofy, random, dazzling, perhaps normal at times - I have the typical low paying college job, but that makes me bohemian artist student liberal chic, right?

I also have an obsession with Serbian tennis players, and I enjoy staying up late for no reason and taking random walks.

As I said above, I'm a student at the University of Louisville, working on my English and Humanities BAs. I want to focus on folklore medieval literature and historic preservation in grad school, because it's all pretty snazzy :) I'd like to eventually teach college and/or work at a museum on a curatorial level. Woohoo, a life of pretentious academia. In all reality, I want to make subjects like these more approachable for everyone, including those not naturally inclined towards liking the topics or subject matter.

Procrastinating, being on time, daydreaming, reading way too much awful Harry Potter fanfiction, entertaining myself way too easily, eating a lot of delicious food, Super Smash Brothers, Final Fantasy, tennis, painting, making random sounds, noises and faces.

I can probably talk way too much about linguistics if I get into the right mood. I can also really down a thing of ice cream. I also really enjoy celery.

My ever changing facial hair (I can't imagine not being bearded ever again) or my glasses. I kind of laugh or smile at....everything (honestly, I'll be in class listening to a lecture and I'll be grinning like hell...I suppose that doesn't sound weird at all, right?)

I like to read a lot of blogs online - from everything about activism, fashion and regular news to Japanese pop... I'm pretty hardcore into the British romantics when it comes to literature, and I won't deny I have author crushes (ok, so I would probably jump on them if they were actually alive...) on Percy Shelly, Lord Byron and John Keats. I love Sylvia Plath, Allen Ginsberg and lots of other crazies. Really enjoy American literature as well, especially poetry and lots of other prose.

I'm working on watching more films - for some reason, I haven't seen a LOT of them - I get stuff like "WHAAAAAAAAT" from people all the time because I haven't seen certain things. Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean I'm looking at you - but I do enjoy older films, older movie stars and film noir, which is pretty badass. Who doesn't want to drink, have lots of sex and be classy and mysterious all at the same time?

I watch TV from time to time...I love Rachel Maddow, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Big Love, True Blood (god, the amount of hotness on this show is insanity) 30 Rock, The Office, Arrested Development and anything witty. Adult Swim is cool too, makes me pretty nostalgic.

I enjoy a lot of music - anything from top 40, to indie pop or folk. I'm always on the search for new music - my ears are whores. But they enjoy their job. Some of my favorite artists include Kate Bush, Camera Obscura, ABBA, Belle and Sebastian, Fleet Foxes, Regina Spektor, Animal Collective and Arcade Fire. There's many more too though :)

When it comes to food, I am not picky. I LOVE Indian food and sushi though. Like, a lot. Damn, I love me some food.

My iPod, glasses, iMac, car, Nerds candy, my backpack. I throw like...everything in that damned backpack.

Awesome things. Obviously. In all seriousness, I am quite idealistic, thinking about how things could be. How to make the world a better place, how to have as much fun as possible, where I'll be in 5 years, all of that junk. Cute boys, not getting enough sleep...oi.

Wondering why I'm in on a Friday night...or at the occasional party, outing, or any other shenanigans. Having a nice beer or a glass of wine with some close friends.
