My Self-Summary
I'm a bit of an explorer of the world around me, both in a physical
and mental sense. I enjoy solving problems, and trying to expand
the limitations of my self. I love to spend time with my friends.
Usually that means cooking out and drinking, playing games, seeing
local bands, or working on hobbies and projects.
What I’m doing with my life
I just completed my undergraduate degree in creative writing and
business at Florida State. I have been thinking about going back
for a master's, but I'm not sure which career path I want to take
yet. I like programming software, but my real passion is anything
creative. I would love to develop a business based on a creative
endevour -- photography, writing, music, etc. -- just something
that is expressive and awesome.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not sure. :P I have gotten compliments on my voice and my eyes,
but I don't know if they are my most prominent features. Maybe I
have some strange feature I don't even know about, like a birthmark
shaped like Ohio or something.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I enjoy reading, but I mostly read genre fiction, and classical
works that others feel are cool or important, to see if I feel the
same way. I have a wide range of musical tastes, though I tend
towards rock and metal. I also like mellow stuff like Jack Johnson,
and "jam band"-ish type stuff, and really like to check out local
artists that have those kinds of styles. I also love food and
cooking, though I usually keep towards simple or quick fare unless
I am cooking for several people. I have a some friends with a
powerhouse food smoker/grill, so we usually have regular cook-outs
with large amounts of beer. :)
The six things I could never do without
The most important things to me are my family and friends. I think
as long as I had those in my life, I wouldn't worry about about the
temporary nature of anything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Entertaining at my apartment, going out to hang with friends, or
just staying home reading, practicing guitar, watching movies, or
working on my web projects.
