I'm a proverbially broke graduate student looking for my next free meal (j/k - well kinda). I'm a budding chef/environmentalist trapped inside the body of an ambitious and studious (and tired) medical student. Even though I stay busy, I can always appreciate a lazy Sunday spent lounging in the sun, listening to NPR, and doing absolutely nothing.

I'm a serious fan of cupcakes, kittens, judge shows, free thinkers, and good times. And I'm sweet. I promise.

Pushing through my third year of medical school with little sleep but lots of enthusiasm... and very little sleep.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

I spend a lot of time thinking about how I'm going to balance a career focused on serving traditionally overlooked communities with my desire for a life that will allow me to continue traveling the world, meeting new people, and spending quality time with friends and family. I'm also figuring out whether I'm going to stay in NC after medical school or whether I'll take that opportunity to explore someplace new.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

I am hanging out with friends, watching TV/movies or just chilling at somebody's house. You'll be more likely to find me in places where you don't have to scream over the background music to have a conversation.
