My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a slightly contrasting character: I can be rather lazy at times, but I'm also fairly active - I'm one of the most unhealthy people to run the London marathon and play football a couple of times a week. I can't sit still for long but I work at a desk.
I generally work in the city but my crumpled appearance doesn't quite fit. I'm confident but sometimes quiet.

I love a gig and a giggle and experiencing something new. But I generally find my favourite nights are down the pub, drinks and irreverent conversation flowing. I'm most content with a pint in hand and good company.

I'm not a huge fan of text speak or American spellings. When MS Word suggests I've spelt 'colour' wrong or auto-corrects 'ise' to 'ize', a little piece of me dize.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Assessing the current and taking opportunities when they arise.

Work wise I'm a corporate fraud investigator, which has kept me plenty busy over the past few years. It can also involve a fair amount of travelling, which is always nice when someone else pays.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting a round in. Avoiding work and other chores. Hanging around with people much cooler than me. Giving in to temptation.

They don't; I move rather stealthily...

Books: Brave New World, To Kill a Mockingbird, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Man that Mistook his Wife for a Hat, anything by Roald Dahl. Does The Guardian count?
Film: 12 Angry Men, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Naked Gun, most things Coen Brothers-esque.
Music: The National, Belle & Sebastian, Nick Drake, Blitzen Trapper and the ilk.
Shows: Blackadder, Arrested Development, Red Dwarf, Peep Show, QI, anything Attenborough.
Food: Pretty much all. Love a moussaka though and make quite a mean one. Oh, and I'll rarely touch chips without gravy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether it's wrong to have a couple of slices of cheese on toast at this hour.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Excited and relieved and tipsy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My friends don't know that I know their paper, scissors, stone strategy, so can beat them on demand. It comes in very handy for escaping chores.
