Geek, nerd, freak. All of the above? Call me what you will, but the fact remains that I've spent great swathes of my life obsessing over comic books and novels, screaming at video games, and laboriously putting together costumes for renaissance festivals. If you let me sit down and tell you about my D&D characters, I'll probably love you forever. In addition, I'm fiercely loyal to the important people in my life, super-neurotic about being on time for things, and firmly believe that all of life's problems can be solved with a good cup of tea.

Also, I should probably mention I have a mohawk.

I just recently acquired my state certification as a nursing assistant. The next big step is getting myself enrolled in nursing school, but first I need some experience under my belt.

Other than that, I'm waiting to see where the wind takes me.

Sewing, baking, remembering the definitions of obscure words, telling bad jokes, and blowing smoke rings.

I'm loud, clumsy, and extremely foul-mouthed. Chances are you'll hear me coming before you ever see me.
I also dress like the 90s never ended and grunge is still cool.

Classic science fiction is my first love, but my favorite contemporary authors include Neil Gaiman, Steven Brust, Glen Cook, and Jim Butcher.

As far as music goes, I'll listen to pretty much anything. I was raised on a steady diet of the Grateful Dead, currently favor Blind Guardian and Nerdcore, and reggae was forever ruined for me in college.

I haven't had tv or really reliable internet service since high school, but I watch a lot of stuff on dvd. Video games fill most of the free time that television used to when I was younger.

I've never been able to say no to sushi or a good barbecue pork dumpling.

Either home alone reading or hanging out with friends.
And by "hanging out with friends," I mean I'm probably either drinking, smoking hookah, or both...with friends.

I was born with an 11th toe, but it's gone now.

...you want to? I've been told by several reliable sources that I'm wicked funny. So that's pretty cool.

We can beat each other up with foam swords, discuss the finer points of Steampunk over a cup of tea, or just sit in the same room and read different books. The possibilities are endless.
