My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright… so. I would probably be considered a 'geek'. I like playing games (primarily video, but also some board, card, or pen and paper), and reading comics (more webcomics than the printed variety), and watching fantasy or sci-fi based movies and tv shows.

I'm also a creative type: I enjoy drawing, writing, acting, singing, sewing, and a number of other various interests. I tend not to do a lot of it unless there's opportunity to show it off, though, due to motivational issues. (Much more likely to do something for someone else than for myself.)

And I am not a big fan of… going out, as it were. I tend to be quiet unless working or speaking about something that interests me, and I'm more than a little awkward around people I'm not used to, so I find myself fading into the background. So... parties, clubbing, that sorta thing? Not my cup'a tea. (Earl Grey, hot.)

It is also to be noted, my sense of humor can range from dry and sarcastic to dark and a little macabre, and as I have an INTJ personality type, I can be more than a little blunt at times.

So if you like staying in, or being in small group settings, while dealing in geeky or creative interests, and have skin that's maybe just a touch on the thick side- there's a decent enough chance we'll get along.

(As a side note, I tend to be something of a cuddler- so all the better if you're not too shy about physical contact.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently in the Game Design program offered by Full Sail University, and my plan after the fact is to work on starting a media production company- starting off with video games then working into books, comics, animation, and film- acting as creative director and producing the stories and worlds I create in my mind in a way that others can share them.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Just about anything I can pick up and learn- I tend to be quick witted, fairly good with my hands, and acquire new skills quickly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beautiful hair.

Joking aside (it's shaved)... I tend not to stand out until I speak up, so probably either my intellect or my sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
Various graphic novels/comics, most things fantasy/sci-fi, and just about anything that's well written, with decent plot/witty dialogue. Also, Shakespeare. (Might be a bit redundant, but I consider it worth mentioning.)

Movies:
All time favorite is probably The Princess Bride, but I'm generally a fan of most fantasy or sci-fi based moves, and animated family/kid friendly movies: esp. disney/pixar varieties. Also basically any Super Hero flick.

Shows:
I've only seen Phantom of the Opera and My Fair Lady so far, and only film versions of those, but love the music from Cats, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, and Wicked, and would love a chance to see some shows in person.

Television: (After realizing that's probably what they meant by saying 'shows'...)
Not really a big tv watcher, but will catch things like Star Trek, Supernatural, Firefly, Sherlock, or Doctor Who through Netflix… basically following my movie tastes. Also, various anime. (Used to be a whole lot of anime, but sorta grew out of that stage- only watch a good one every now and then anymore.)

Music:
Musical tastes are pretty eclectic… I'll listen to pretty much anything apart from overblown old-school twangy country, or hip-hop/rap. Favorite offhand would probably be anything by Queen, and also Alestorm… because pirates.

Food:
Chinese... and pretty much anything edible, I'm not much of a picky eater

The same traits that cause me to excel in any given skill arena also make me bloody God-awful at small talk, and socializing in general. (Sort've the whole reason I'm on this site to begin with.)

Honestly, if you're still reading at this point, allons-y: I'd love to hear from you (even more so if you've caught my various references). But especially if you're interested in talking, hanging out, or something more. I'm pretty much always happy to chat, though do please ask questions or start a conversation- "Hi how are U" is boring. And grammatically incorrect.

Hell, start a conversation that has nothing to do with my profile and I'll probably still jump in and go with it.

I will say though, if you're looking for a romantic relationship, I am most looking for someone who'd be willing to share my geek interests and at least be curious about my creative pursuits- my stories and my worlds especially- if not willing to share and build them together.
