I am kind, gentle, and loving.

My Self-Summary

Eating paninis exhausts me.

Other than that, I like hiking but I don't go hiking as often as I would like. I love horses and horseback riding. I love my friends and family and am happy with my life right now.

I love music and traveling. I love the fall and the spring, especially in Vermont. I went to school in Vermont and I only went skiing once (I know, I know!) and I'd definitely like to go skiing again.

I’m really good at

Playing the flute and learning languages. I can make a pretty mean cupcake but I can't flip pancakes or make a proper omelet (but I try very, very hard).

The first things people usually notice about me

I have pretty nice hair.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: When I was younger I read every Nancy Drew and Saddle Club book.
Anything by Italo Calvino, but Invisible Cities is my favorite.

Movies: Any movie with Jet Li in it (yes, even The Mummy 3) and Chinese movies in general.

Music: Folk, Country, Americana, Bluegrass, Classical, Contemporary whatever is playing on the radio, khoomei anyone? I also like listening to various world music cultures. Some of my favorites Jeffrey Foucault, Nickel Creek, Allison Krauss, Justin Townes Earle, Townes van Zandt, Jean Pierre Rampal, The Avett Brothers, Bach, Josh Ritter

Food: Pizza and chocolate ice cream(great for hangovers, I promise) But, actually I try to eat pretty healthy and generally stay away from processed things.

The six things I could never do without

1. My Musketeers! (aka my oldest friends)
2. Music
3. Chocolate
4. Rain
5. My Family
6. Moscato

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Going to Xinjiang, Central Asian music and horseback riding in Mongolia.

On a typical Friday night I am

Working, hanging with my girls or my family.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm still thinking about this one...

You should message me if

You want to go hiking, you would go to a contra dance, if you would consider going to a traditional Mongolian music concert. It's ok if you don't want to do any of these things, message me if you are kind, caring and fun to be around.
