My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have just moved back to the UK after being in New York for the last two years setting up a music streaming company. Looking to get back into London life and that also includes finding a flat! Always fun and games hunting and dealing with Estate Agents!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just been travelling on my way back from the US. Had an amazing time in Oz, NZ, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Time to get back to real life now and see what the next adventure is. The last five years working for an internet start up was exhausting and fun and now my batteries are charged up for the next chapter!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Am reasonably tall? Not a clue...you'll have to tell me!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Sooo hard this but lets try.

So I love a good autobiography (stand up comics have amazing ones), on a plane a Dan Brown/Stig Larsson type is good to while away the time but then also books where I learn. I jump around.

Films, am a huge fan and watch all kinds but ones I'd actually buy would probably include Amadeus, Dumb and Dumber, Withnail and I, Leon, Batman (Tim Burton original although the new ones are pretty good too), One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Great Escape (its an English thing around Christmas!).

Book of Mormon was pure class and Jersey Boys shocked me into learning how many hits one group had that I never thought were theirs.

Music...most genres but I am quite mainstream (despite working in the industry for 12 years!). I find new stuff from friends who know their onions and whats blasted out in the office, so probably know more than I think. Festivals can be quite useful too for discovering acts.

Food, anything really, Thai, Indian sushi and steak will never upset me. NYC was so good and now I need to find out where is hot in London again.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A really comfy sofa to relax in when shattered
Fresh countryside air
Taxis (just a bad habit I have got into)
Curiosity
New tech that makes life easier
Time - need loads more to see everything I want to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How religion can be so destructive when at its core its supposed to be a positive thing. How on earth no bankers responsible for the 2008 crash went to jail and still kept their millions. What tech business to start up to make life easier. How to get a better work/life balance. When I am going to catch up and see my amazing friends. Which part of the world I should visit next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dinner with friends then out to bars/clubs/fun places. I guess the usual. Am more comfortable in regular bars than overpriced clubs. Ideally I like to try new places too.

Sometimes, when there's been a brutal week, it is a chilled one with takeout and a good film.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I actually don't mind going to the cinema on my own. Friends think it is weird but I can choose anything and not be ashamed!
