Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I think we all have stumbled our way through writing an
entertaining yet honest and provocative description. What to say,
how to say it, how to impress... but not scare anyone away? Be bold
in our words, yet soft and caring. Are we writing to describe who
we are, what we want to be, or what we think others might want us
to be? Can reading a passage really give you a sense of who I am,
or me a sense of who you are? As our culture becomes more and more
acclimated to conversation through type, I find that our written
language needs to grow. Do you know if you are putting the correct
intonation to what's laid out in front of you to judge? Can your
mood while reading my profile change what type of person you think
I am? Let's give it a try…
Nature is my sanctuary and my place of comfort, where I feel most
at home. I grew up with a strong emphasis on morals, integrity,
humility, ingenuity, and family. Many of these lessons came through
play, creation, and camping. When I think of my childhood my
memories are filled with swimming in ice cold rivers, exploring
mountains, and making fires. I can't imagine a future or a family
of my own where nature does not play a significant role.
I am and will always be a big kid, and yes there is a big
difference between maturity and acting like a kid. I will never
give up my sense of wonder or be bogged down by seriousness. I want
to be with someone that can laugh at themselves as often as they
can at me.
Intonation: Confident and Reserved
I am old fashioned in many ways, chivalry is not dead… or sexist
for that matter. The kitchen is a great place to experiment and
relax. I'm looking for a girl who equally enjoys a night on the
town, dragging the mattress into the living room and watching
movies all day, sleeping in a tent, or under the stars if you're
brave enough. Someone who embraces their imperfections and may be a

think it $oooo hot when $exy $hawty$ give the camera their be$t

$omeday my names going to be on a building or a clothing line, I
haven't decided yet. YOLO... and I don't mean the county.
Now switch around the intonations and re-read a passage or two…
Does it change your opinion of who I am?
(Disclaimer: the above is written with correct intonation stated.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I absolutely love my job, I am a high school art teacher and I run
a backpacking club for my students.
Right now I am concentrating on fitness. I have been running
everyday since June 1st and have got myself up to a 5 mile run in
under a month. I do at least a 5k each day and I have started
biking regularly as well. My goal is to run 100 days in a row and
I'm almost there!
UPDATE: I ran 102 days without missing even one. I still work out
daily, but not always running. Over the 102 days I went from 263
lbs to 197 lbs. I am less weight right now than when I was 15 years
old, and it is fantastic!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the positive in situations.
Committing to something and seeing it through.

Well... what did you notice? This sounds more like a question for
you rather than me...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: I have to say what I eat most is probably Mexican, but I love
all types of food. Gnocchi is one of my favorite dishes. I also
bake an array of sourdough deliciousness!
Music: Lately I've been into indie type singer song writers but I
have a pretty broad range in music. Some favorites, Dan Mills,
Brett Dennen, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, and of course the classics,
The Doors, Zeppelin, Paul Simon, and Hendrix. I even listen to
country and blue grass from time to time. Bonus points if you know
Wagon Wheel is not a "Formerly Known as Hootie" song.
Shows: The Office and Scrubs are a couple of my all time
Movies: There's Something About Mary, Anchorman, etc...
Books: What I've read most recently has been poetry from a
collection titled The Outlaw Bible to American Poetry. It is
collection ranging from Ginsberg to Tupac and Kaufman to Bob Dylan,
it is an amazing collection. I am also currently reading The Agony
and The Ecstasy: A Biographical Novel of Michelangelo (no not the
ninja turtle, although that would be a good book).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Granite mountains and trees
-Backpacking equipment... no seriously, I might freeze to death
-A positive outlook/Good sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where to and when I want to take my next extended trip.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time with good friends, eating good food, or watching a
good movie. Sometimes all at the same time!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a deep down desire to adopt a three legged dog... and name
