I spend a lot of time outdoors. Paddling or just wandering with the
dog. If I have spare time, I've likely taken off somewhere to do
one of those things. Usually I remember to leave a note. I'm not
big on technology, so people occasionally get irritated because I
don't carry my phone with me everywhere I go. Actually, most places
I go when I'm not at work aren't all that electronics friendly. I
love sports. Really. Baseball, football, basketball, F1...all
great. My place is a mess of books, and many more have been lost or
loaned out to people forgotten. Perpetual student; if something
interests me (which many things do) I learn as much as I can. A
friend suggested the Meyers Briggs and I placed at INTJ, which I
find is rather accurate. I recently began brewing beer and love a
good bourbon or scotch. I'm a true lover of adventure and as such I
do not plan vacations; I just pack a bag and go. I'm looking for
someone to share any and all of those things with. If you prefer to
spend your days and nights laughing, we'll get along quite well.
Something that should be mentioned, I will drive anywhere in the
country to see Phish play.
As a last note to my love of baseball
"If asked where baseball stood amid such notions as country,
family, love, honor, art, and religion, we might say derisively,
'just a game.' But under oath, I'd abandon some of these Big Six
before I'd give up baseball."
What I’m doing with my life
Everything I can.
I’m really good at
Laughing at myself. And others.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oddly my sandals. I'm never without them. I don't care if it's
twenty six degrees outside, my sandals are way more comfortable
than anything else.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read all the time, because my job allows it, but as an absolute
favorite, Stephen King.
Music is hippyish: Phish, The Dead, Pink Floyd, String Cheese, lots
of jazz, lots of classical.
Sports and Top Gear. Some staple stuff too like Homeland and Game
The six things I could never do without
Delicious food, paddle board, books, Phish, Colorado, Bourbon (we
all have those days, bourbon puts things in perspective)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
There is no typical. Depends on what I feel like. Maybe Stan's Blue
Note, maybe Corpus Christie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Clowns and jelly frighten the bezeus out of me.
You should message me if
You like goofs.
And nice people.
Don't mind someone who spaces out.
