Well, hello there! Welcome!

I'd love to give myself a simple summary that's easy to write, but I don't think it's really possible for these things to be simple or easy. Where would be the fun in that, eh?

I greatly value all the friendships and relationships I have in my life. I don't have a zillion acquaintances, but I have a small group of very good friends that I'd do anything for.

I crack myself up often by constantly thinking of nerdy/stupid/funny-to-me things. I like to give others amusement when I can. :)

I currently work a retail job for a printing/shipping company. It's not my main focus in life, but it helps to get the bills paid at the moment.

Recently, I've started going to the gym to get in a lot better shape. I started going in October of 2011, and now I go about five days a week! It's great fun, gives me a sense of accomplishment, gives me something to do, and is helping me to get into a more healthy lifestyle. I have lost considerable weight since then, and plan to continue!

I am totally going to do a couple 5Ks this spring/summer. There is one in June in Indianapolis with ZOMBIES!

I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist, whether it be a project I am doing, or something at work. I don't like my name to be attached to something unless it is of utmost quality.

I love to cook. I will cook for you. Name it and it's yours. Unless it involves flipping something. I suck at flipping stuff.

Some of my interests are a little nerdy, so naturally I know a lot about computers and technology... I love to play with neat little geeky toys like the latest digital camera or the newest iPod. Another of my interests is cars - I love to drive. It can be quite relaxing when a lot is on my mind.

Video games are fun. I can has xbox, I can has ps3.

People will notice I'm a bit of a goofball. They'll notice I'm a bit weird. They'll notice I will listen intently. They will notice that I'll give honest advice, but I won't kiss anyone's ass.

Movies. Requiem for a Dream, Star Trek, Fight Club, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, the Toy Story Films, Back to the Future trilogy, Serenity, any Kevin Smith film, American Movie, American Beauty, Collateral, Iron Man and many many others. I love many movies. I am a former film major. I guess loving movies is a requirement of my life.

Music. Foods. I don't have any particular tastes that I love or hate. I am a somewhat picky eater, but I will try most anything. If i had to choose one favorite type of food, I'd say Italian.

Books. Angles and Demons. The Road. Orbiting the Giant Hairball. Bossypants. Working on the series of books that True Blood is based off of. I read a variety of both fiction and nonfiction. Not as much as I'd like to lately, I have a small pile that I need to get through.

I spend a lot of time thinking and contemplating my plans for the future. What career path/companies I would like to work for once I get out of school. Where I would be willing to live.

Also, I think about the solar system. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate it.

Perhaps watching a movie. Perhaps spending time with a couple friends. Perhaps driving around for no apparent reason and with no apparent destination. Perhaps trying to stop using the word perhaps in every sentence, perhaps.

When I was in High School I got suspended for writing a story. Seriously. Everyone found it hilarious. Except who it was targeted at, apparently. They claimed my story was an attempt at libel. They would be incorrect; it was a parody of actual events that took place.

....You think you'd be able to get along with a goofy guy who could probably keep you laughing.

....If you'd like to engage in intelligent debate over pretty much any subject. Perhaps we may agree, perhaps we may disagree. I like to know other people's points of views on things.
