Did you ever know someone who moved like a cat? Every step is on the prowl with an awareness of their surroundings so that they always seem on a collision course with others, but, it never seems to happen. The big cat that the others in the room seek out for protection, affection, and play. What do you think of the quite types who gave rise to the saying, "he who speaks least, speaks loudest"? Do you believe its possible to be modest and self-confident at the same time? Does the extra income of a 40hr/week (as opposed to 30hr/week) really improve our standard of living, or, merely the standard of our furnishings? What do you think of the idea that America's dependence on the personal automobile has transcended laziness and gluttony to a point of masochism and hedonism? Do you believe its better to be able to hold your liquor, or, savor it? What makes for a better psychiatric treatment; pharmaceuticals or interactive care? Is it appropriate to pay taxes to a government who's actions you condemn? Considering keys, among other things, are easier to find when one isn't looking; is it really fruitful to look for love? Can feet be sexy? Doesn't it seem disappointing that there are no double consonants in the word "consonants"? Do you, like myself, believe that the most true statements come in the form of questions? Am i the only native English speaker on this site with the honesty to admit that they speak English "poorly"?

I am stroking, toking, and joking

Drifting! Coasting, cruising, laying about... Call it what you will, but, I'm lazy and loving it. I'm responsible lazy, though; i earnestly try to meet the responsibilities i accept, and, try to accept as few responsibilities as possible in order to be lazy. Keeping this in mind i'm sure we can all appreciate the fact that i don't want children.

juggling stix, giving sound advice that people whole-heartedly appreciate then ignore; but that's what its for right? Guilty myself. ;-) I like to dance, but i wouldn't say i'm good. Unsurprising considering i'm a second generation military brat i'm good at moving; particularly the load-in and load-out, but, no pianos.

Damn i'm skinny! I mean please don't take your shirt off in public; skinny. I mean i go to the oncology ward and they ask me why i'm out of bed; skinny. I mean cut like a skipping stone; skinny. I mean bums offer me food; skinny. I mean a crew-cut looks like an afro on me; skinny. I mean bust out the dental floss for bondage games; skinny. I mean i go camping and the roots and rocks look for a better place to lie; skinny. I mean anorexics tell me to eat something; skinny.(that's actually happened) i've had healthy lifestyles, i've had unhealthy lifestyles, right now i'm somewhere in between, and, not a lick of it has made a real difference. "Frankly my dear, i don't give a damn."

I'm allergic to mushrooms and eggs cooked whole, and, aside from that there really isn't much i'm not willing to try. I love the old style pizzas with just olive oil between the cheese and the crust. Stir fry is still the only way i've ever enjoyed broccoli. I once tried to order unagi nigiri when drunk, ended up getting uni (sea urchin gonads), and am still trying to decide which is better. Of course i'm still down for Maki. I also dig Mexican fare of course. If its hot enough to make you cry i want to try it.

After years below the tax line i'm frankly amazed at what i can do without; well, aside from the necessities such as water, food, shelter... I don't need TV, internet, music, a working computer, quality literature, good food, or even coffee and chocolate.

I want to go sailing. Not an afternoon on the lake, or, a week around the Sound, sailing. Out across the Pacific to Hawaii, Samoa, or New Zealand, and then to where the winds and currents head; sailing. I want a shell on my back and porpoises at my bow. I want to swim amongst the corral with schools of fish and forget for months at a time what a shirt feels like. I want to visit all those exotic ports that sailors have been telling their children about for generations. I want to experience new cultures and learn their norms and values first hand. Life is a journey, and, death the destination; i want to see as many shores of this world as i can, before i cross that great divide to other shores.

Sadly enough, probably in front of my computer or reading a book. Due to transportation issues i usually only get into town on Saturdays.

I would rather take the Greyhound than a plane.
