My Self-Summary
I am a newly minted lawyer, who just recently graduated
from law school. I just moved down here to Alexandria to start my
first post-law school job. I'm pretty excited about it.
I originally just signed onto this site back in college to take the dopey tests. But I am now actually thinking about taking it a bit more seriously and seeing if I can meet someone.
Since I'll be moving around a bit for the foreseeable future, I figured this would be a good way to meet people.

What I’m doing with my life
I am a lawyer - I am hoping to work for the government for year or
two then move on to private practice afterward. It's a pretty
common path, but I think it'll work well for me. I really enjoyed
law school and the legal work I've done so far.

Hmm. I've been good at school so far. I'm also really good at
video
games, if that counts for something. I'm also pretty friendly,
and good at making friends. I tend to get along with
everyone.
I really like to play chess, though I just play for fun now - I have not been in a competition since high school. I really like to fence. I've fenced since I learned at summer camp during middle school and loved it ever since!

The first things people usually notice about me
I guess I'd have to say my smile? I always try to smile when I
first meet people. I think it sets a good impression, and makes
everyone happier. Besides, I genuinely like meeting new people.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love reading sci-fi and fantasy books. The Thrawn
Trilogy, Song of Ice and Fire, DragonLance, you name it. As for
movies, I have similar tastes (Star Wars, LotR, Princess Bride),
but I also like stuff like Memento.
I love to eat. So i love almost all food. Mexicanis probably my favorite. Spicier the better! As for music, I'm really eclectic. Any genre, if it's good.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what life has in store for me
next. I'm just at the point in life where every step is
unpredictable - I do not know where I'll be in two years, who I'll
be working for, or anything. It's exciting!

A recent Friday I got together with some college friends for board
games and dinner. Low key, but fun. That's what I like.

I hate to lose. Seriously. I'm really competitive, so it annoys me
quite a bit.
