Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Loyal, fun-loving, enthusiastic (yet stable), and always seeking to
improve myself... I may expect a lot, but in return, I give a lot -
and never forget to give thanks and appreciation. I believe that in
relationships we should build each other up and bring out the best
in each other. I also think it's super important to be able to goof
off together and make each other laugh, and I am looking for
someone who shares this outlook.
We each have our own lives and enjoy time with friends and
activities on our own. But because we both feel totally alive,
engaged, and inspired when playing in nature, we likely spend a lot
of our time together running or biking nearby trails....taking a
weekend and hitting the slopes to catch some fresh tracks and then
enjoying the après (with drinks and a cozy fire of
course)...camping at some hidden gem of a campground....climbing a
mountain once in a while to test our limits...attempting to
As often as we can, we also try to get a bit further afield to
explore the far corners of the earth - the more exotic and
off-the-beaten path the better. Sometimes to enjoy an active
vacation, other times to lounge on a deserted beach with soft sand
and epic blue waters to ourselves. We spend time meeting new
friends, seeing new cities, trying the local foods, learning about
other cultures, and likely making more than a few bad decisions but
most assuredly having some great laughs because of it.
You are a healthy, funny, goofy, warm, smart man who is well
informed. And I kind of fall for you during our conversations
because you are curious and aware. And you've taken the time to
experience a lot of the world yourself and have your own
entertaining stories to contribute. What I most admire in men is a
combination of a fun and adventurous spirit with an ability to
successfully navigate the real world. I like a guy who is at ease
with life, sees the joy in it, and is looking to make the most of
Don’t be shy. I think if you read my profile carefully, you know my
kind of man. If you see a match – come on out and say hello – and
let's get out there and explore each other along with this amazing
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to get the most out of it. I enjoy continually learning and
experiencing new things, so can be a bit like a kid in a candy
store when it comes to life. Yet I'm also strangely focused, loyal,
and driven at the same time.
Trying to figure out how to make others' lives better in the
process as well. What can I say...I'm still a bit of a VT hippie
idealist at heart, because I'm never fully satisfied if I don't
feel like I'm giving back as well.
I’m really good at

bit of a nerd with books, I'm happy to admit it. Do a good amount
of reading. Recent reads I liked were Cutting for Stone, Night

Big fan of clever and witty sarcasm - movies of the Anchorman
variety, TV of the Jon Stewart/Family Guy variety, and newspapers
of the Onion variety... you get the idea. I don't mind pushing the
boundaries of decency for a good laugh at times. But the next day
you might find me watching an artsy foreign drama.
I love music but one look at my ipod confuses most because my taste
really varies. I listen to mostly alternative-ish/singer-songwriter
stuff when just going about my day or driving.
Love food... up to try anything or try and make anything! Cooking
is something I really enjoy - along with baking. I also dig
bourbon. A well-made brown cocktail is a favorite treat.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm so tempted to find something clever to say here... but failing.
So here are some thoughts:
- passport -- I know everyone on here claims travel, but this is
something I just can't leave off, it has had too much of an impact
on my life and I hope to continue to have more off-the-beaten path
adventures into the future, ideally even living abroad again.
- wine (I mean I could totally live without it, but why?!?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about

I feel drawn to people that don't take themselves or life too
seriously, but still know how to handle their business. Can't
resist someone a bit feisty as well who will challenge me, so long
as you can also take a bit of it in return.
