My self-summary
"The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller

Hi, I'm Pace! I am a spiritual idealist entrepreneur. I have quite a few badges on my girl scout sash (bi poly trans kinky pagan vegetarian gamer geek, to name a few) but "spiritual idealist entrepreneur" gives a better sense of who I am.

I like most things. I'm interested in linguistics, gender, the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, consensual reality, paradigm, personal identity, music theory (I've written a random music generator), communication, personal development, spirituality, and online business.

So, that's me in a pecan shell. Drop me a line! (:
What I’m doing with my life
Relationship-wise, I'm in a mostly polyfidelitous dyad with my lovely wife kyeli-unlikely.

Work-wise, I am an entrepreneur. I'm co-leader (along with kyeli-unlikely) of the Connection Revolution, a business and a social movement, both with the goal of changing the world through creating connection.

What do I do with my free time? I make HTML tables explaining what I do in my free time. (;
I’m really good at
DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). I've won 1 statewide competition and placed in several others. It's incredibly fun and I love to play! (: Also, I really love ITG (In The Groove), which is even better than DDR! (:
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors I like: Daniel Quinn, Seth Godin, Charles Stross, John Scalzi, Lois McMaster Bujold, Greg Egan, Robert Anton Wilson, Sheri S. Tepper, Terry Pratchett, Spider Robinson, etc, etc, etc.

Movies I like: UHF, starring Weird Al Yankovic. Rent. L.A. Story. The Wizard of Speed and Time.

Music I like: The Polyphonic Spree, J-pop, K-pop, crappy dance music, King Crimson], Deep Forest, Delerium, Robyn Hitchcock, Radiohead, TMBG, Rheostatics, Boiled In Lead, and a wide variety of others.

People I like: I like almost everyone!

Games I like: Zendo! Boggle! And about 212 others... lots of abstract strategy games, but lots of board games, card games, computer games, RPGs, etc.

Religions I like: Paganism (Reclaiming in particular), Discordianism, UU, Sufism, and little snippets of several others. I'm more spiritual than religious; I look into my own heart rather than to an established set of conventions.

I also like anime, music games (like DDR, Beatmania IIDX, and Guitar Freaks), B5, Buffy, surrealism, and going to cons. (:
The six things I could never do without
Just this paddle game. That's all I need. And this remote control. This paddle game and this remote control, that's all I need. And this lamp. That's it. This paddle game, this remote control, and this lamp. And this chair. That's all I need.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Marketing. I used to think marketing was icky and sleazy, but then I read Seth Godin and he completely turned my viewpoint around. Sure, there are plenty of sleazy marketers, but when you get down to it, marketing is storytelling, and the best marketers are the ones whose stories are true AND they tell them very well. Marketing is the art of good storytelling. I'm fascinated by it, but for the low low price of 25 cents I will shut up about it for a brief period of time. (;

A well-defined ontology of video games. All those squishy unfaceted genres and subgenres give me the heebie-jeebies.

The difference between spiritual codependence and spiritual interdependence.

The Risus roleplaying campaign that _kyeli-unlikely_ and I are co-GMing. It's always fun to bounce ideas off each other. (:
On a typical Friday night I am
Working! Although it doesn't really feel like work when you're doing what you love. (:

Sometimes our Mage campaign is on Friday nights, too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be a boy. It was a long time ago. It was very interesting and I'm happy to tell stories or talk philosophy about it, but for all practical purposes I'm just a girl. (:
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 24–49
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You want to have interesting conversations about changing the world, communication, relationships, entrepreneurship, business, personal development, spirituality, or something else you're passionate about. I enjoy meeting new people and talking about interesting things. (:
