My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love simplicity on the surface with undertones of complexity. One of my favorite things in the world is to read sensual descriptions of food - my yogi tea bag fortune, the back of the wine bottle (black pepper and dark plum notes), or the dessert menu. I judge books and movies by their covers (and first paragraphs) but know people are more than first appearances of a hard shell or happy persona.

I love simple pleasures - the clouds, the open road, frogs and salamanders, stilettos and birks. The journey where the destination often changes mid-course. Deep connections - a smile, a random conversation about the weather at the bus stop, a knowing look, fulfilling my purpose in the world.

I love touch. I love to feel electricity with a touch of the knee or a lingering kiss; security through a full body bear hug; support in the frame of a waltz, kompa, or bachata; warmth with an outstretched hand and pleasant gaze. My feet solidly present on the ground, a rock face, or a wooded path.

The flowers you bring can be wild weeds. The date can be reading our own books but sitting together. The new recipe we make can be a total disaster. As long as we enjoy the time spent near each other. Easy. Honest. Comfortable.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
BOOKS: Anna Karenina, The Art of Hearing Heartbeats, Snow, Three Cups of Tea, Animal Dreams

MOVIES: Squid and the Whale, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, All Dance Movies (think Strictly Ballroom, Dirty Dancing, Step Up), Good Will Hunting, The Notebook (cheesy but I LOVE romcoms), American History X, Suspense/Psychological Thrillers like Life of David Gale and Primal Fear

SHOWS: The Big C, Grey's Anatomy (my surgery soap opera), Daily Show (my daily politics), So you think you can dance (yes I do), you know, crappy reality shows...

MUSIC: Anything I can dance to, feel emotional over, calm down, energize up, chill (jazz, r&b, salsa, kompa, indie/emo, pop/hip hop)

FOOD: Indian, Mexican, Lebanese, pretty much anything with exotic spices.... Hot baked bread, raw cookie dough, chips n' salsa, avocado n' toast, red licorice, and cheese are my weaknesses.
