My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi. I'm much more quiet on the internet than in real life (but I'm working on it) and I'm better at listening than at talking, but I try to answer messages in a relatively articulate way. I'm coolheaded and open-minded; almost nothing you can say can faze me. But hey, go ahead and try!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently studying English as a second language, and I only have a vague idea of what I want to do after that (translating, probably). I'm also trying to learn German at the moment. I'm planning to learn Swedish as well; I think it sounds beautiful.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating and avoiding responsibilities.
I also strive to be the very best like no one ever was.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I look like a hobbit. Best compliment I've ever received.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like fantasy and noir novels, but I mostly read classics. My favorite authors include Virginia Woolf, Robert Penn Warren, Raymond Chandler and Lorrie Moore.

My favorite directors/screenwriters are the Coen brothers. I especially love A Serious Man, Fargo and The Big Lebowski.
I also like The Naked Gun, Monty Python, and the Cornetto trilogy.
Other favorites include Alien, Midnight Cowboy, and Airplane!.

Fargo, Breaking Bad, True Detective and Hannibal are the best tv shows I've ever seen.
I really like the way Person of Interest has developed and I can't wait for the next season. I also have a soft spot for LOST and House MD despite their many flaws. And I like Vikings because, well, I like vikings (and beards).
I follow BBC Sherlock, Supernatural and Game of Thrones but I wouldn't call myself a fan of these shows.
As for French shows, I absolutely love Kaamelott and Bref and I really enjoyed Les Revenants.

Video Games:
My favorite game is Skyrim. I LOVE it. If I could play just one game for the rest of my life, it would be this one. I'm very fond of Oblivion and Morrowind as well, but I admit they can be hard to get into (download all the mods!).
I also like the Fallout series, Pokémon, Hotel Dusk and Last Window, Portal 2 and Red Dead Redemption.

Music :
Music is my favorite form of entertainment. I currently have about 1,200 albums on my iPod.
Favorite genres: jazz, folk, folk rock, classic rock, baroque pop, heavy metal, viking metal, stoner rock, blues rock, funk, soul.

Food :
I absolutely love beer. Any kind of beer. It might be my favorite thing in the world.
I also like black tea, onions, garlic, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, coffee, bananas, green beans, pasta, flammekueche (best thing in the world if you like onions), eggs & bacon, curry, cinnamon, oatmeal, waffles, pie, cheeseburgers and of course chocolate.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Alcohol. Can you imagine spending the rest of your life sober?
-A home just for myself.
-Something to read.
-Nature. I get grumpy if I don't see trees and birds every day.
-Huge amounts of me-time. I'm really not the extroverted type.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food. And sometimes important things like studying and family, but mostly food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dicking around on the internet. No surprises there.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I thought Link was called Zelda until I was fourteen.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to discuss serious or non-serious things. Talk to me about anything you want, I won't mind. Except maybe religion. And politics.

Also it'd be better if you can spell.

(p.s.: if you have a beard I'll probably think you're hot)
