My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
in the past few years i've co-founded a burlesque show & a kickball league; i've worked in a bilingual kindergarten & in a 24-hour c-store; i've studied religion and culture & danced the night away in the heart of berlin; i've karaoke'd in english, german and japanese; i've co-designed a portable cereal bowl & a series of trading cards and i've studied under someone who studied under someone who studied under someone who studied under bruce lee.
momentan, i'm preparing for my next adventure every witch-a-way i know how.
i like it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
i'm working for everybody's favorite alphabet agency & keeping up my international network of friends with love letters & doodly kirigami art exchanges.
i also dabble in or have dabbled in many languages -- german and american english are at mothertongue-level but i know a couple thousand words of japanese; a few hundred each of arabic, french & russian; and i've flirted with canto, turkish and australian slang. italian's next, so we'll see how that goes ~
aside from that my main three hobbies would be (japanese) chess, martial arts conditioning & cooking on the cheap.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
accents, going to baseball games, telling stories, DJing, calming even the peskiest omohyoideus, MCing, folding origami paper frogs, taking a silly idea and running with it, riffing movies, pronouncing difficult phonemes, and wearing mismatched socks.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
beard (it's pretty red. and right now it's pretty spitz-y)
or voice probably.
if not that, i'm probably wearing bright colors.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
if alone: writing letters, tumbling, catching up on books/music/tv that people have recommended to me, looking through old shogi championship matches, and staying up entirely too late.

if not alone: talking about whatever's important or unimportant with some kind of music in the background, sharing food & drink, watching something everyone can enjoy or study, and staying up entirely too late.
also, if someone's had a bad day/month/whatever, even on a friday that can get addressed with desserts, smokes and advice and/or sympathy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i've never read the last chapter of don quixote because i don't want the narration to have a definite answer as to whether he really saw the things he did in montesinos cave.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.

you have a good or extra-terrible knock-knock joke.
you have something you think i should watch/hear/read/try.
you have a silly challenge for me (spicy curry, rap battle, board game, computer game, sticky hands, dance-off, push-ups, slicing tofu into reaaaally reallly thin pieces, usw.)
