I am scholarly, creative, and lazy.
My Self-Summary
I'm a Witch, and they don't have that in the religion box. If that
doesn't scare you off, keep reading.
I am always looking for more experiences and wisdom in my life,
trying to stay open to all that is new and different. I'm looking
for people to share experiences with. I'm polyamourous, and I am
not looking for a "one-and-only" or someone who wants that. I live
with my partner of 18 years. I would like more friends, lovers,
people to go places and do things. And I'm open to new lovers as
well.
I'm a science fiction fan. If you go to any of the fan conventions
in the Twin Cities, you may have met me.
Oh, and I'm an INTJ, and very introverted. Most people don't know
this, because when I'm feeling shy, I stay home.
What I’m doing with my life
Reading, writing, learning, playing, cooking, doing ritual, did I
mention reading?
I’m really good at
Reading, cooking, reading Tarot cards (I've done it professionally,
i.e. for money) writing (I've gotten money for that as well)
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Or the top of my head, depending on how tall they are.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a)Stranger in a Strange Land, most science fiction and fantasy,
especially Spider Robinson, Lois McMaster Bujold, Charles de Lint.
I also like "malice domestic" mysteries, and classics like Dorothy
Sayers and Rex Stout.
b) Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dark City, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,
Galaxy Quest. I have the first three seasons of "Fraggle Rock" on
DVD but I haven't finished watching them yet.
c) Rock from the late sixties to early eighties: Beatles, Led
Zeppelin, Eagles, the usual. Also Indigo Girls, and other recent
music, but I'm more selective about that. And classical - Vivaldi,
Bach.
d) chocolate, sushi
The six things I could never do without
Chocolate, computer, comfortable chairs, indoor plumbing, central
heating and air conditioning,
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, the latest books I've read.
I realize this profile makes me sound more serious than I really am
in person.
On a typical Friday night I am
I used to watch "Stargate SG-1", but that's over now. "Sarah Jane
Adventures now, and soon, more "Dr. Who". Unless I have other
plans, in which case I thank whoever invented the VCR.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My hair is gray. (I'm not good at sharing secrets with strangers.)
You should message me if
Any of what I say intrigues you. Or you want to ask questions about
what I mean by any of it.
