My self-summary
This is me in bullet point format.
• I like bullet points.
• I have an unnatural thirst for detailed knowledge. I HAVE to have something to research.
• Despite what my pictures might lead you to believe, I smile. And that smile contains all of my teeth.
• I can't seem to do without the city or the countryside so I maintain a nice balance. Yes, this means I enjoy the bright lights of city, the mountainside, the fair, and the farm. I can't do without any of them.
• I have an artistic side and crave an outlet. Especially musically. I’ve recently gotten back into recording.
• A properly made Old Fashioned is my drink of choice.
• I am pro responsible gun ownership, within reason. You should be ok with this or at least open to an intelligent debate on the subject.
• Travel is one of my biggest passions. My last trip was a solo motorbike trip through northern Viet Nam and I am absolutely in love. I think a lot about quitting my job and leading a life of travel.
• I have an affinity for style of the 1950s and wish we all dressed like Mad Men at all times. My grandparents wouldn't have been caught dead out at a restaurant or lounge in jeans and t-shirts and I love that about them and their time period. What happened?
• I'm not trying to be a hipster. I've been wearing black framed glasses since the 90s and, frankly, I want my face back y'all.
• I love being with friends or doing new things out of my comfort zone, mostly preferring one on one to large groups.
• I've gotten into bouldering recently. You may create a "chance meeting" at SBP during the week.
• I need some down time and solitude in my life. And then a healthy amount of adventure to counter balance. I need my outdoor and active time.
• I grew up in the Midwest. While I left, I have a lot of love for where and how I grew up.
• I have a grey dog and we're fairly inseparable. MUST LOVE DOGS!
• My interests are my interests. They don’t have to be your interests. I LOVE contrast and having people around the balance me out and we can learn from each other. Of course, some commonalities have to exist but I don’t want to date myself. Remember the phrase opposites attract?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on my career. It helps that I get free chocolate milk at work everyday. It's amazing. Also, planning travels, creating music, hanging with friends, walking the dog, and contemplating our (me and dog) end of day's survival plan. Self-analyzing and personal growth are important too.
I’m really good at
opening jars
saying hi to strangers.
celebrity association.
fixing things I don't know how to fix.
rapping.
problem solving.
deadpan.
making cocktails.
saying controversial things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If there is anything I've learned it's that it's not what you like. It's what you ARE like that matters. Cusack was wrong. That being said, I think I have really great, eclectic taste in the above mentioned categories.

Ok, I'll at least mention Doctor Who, the Walking Dead and Mad Men since those excite me the most right now.

Musically, I've been on a 60s Soul kick as of late.
The six things I could never do without
- nature
- travel
- family
- music
- blue skies
- solitude
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- Where I want to live next. I'll probably move in the next 1-2 years. Nashville? New Orleans? Carolina? Chicago?
- Travel adventures.
- What's out in the stars. Aliens and such.
- Time and space.
- Riding motorcycles
- Apocalyptic survival.
On a typical Friday night I am
enjoying my play time in one fashion or another.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Titanic is one of my favorite movies of all time.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–37
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
You think meeting in person is more valuable than reading online. You don't put TOO much value in the percentages generated from a list of arbitrary questions without context and you are open to the idea of making a new friend if there's no romantic chemistry. Let's just hang out and see what happens. What's there to lose?
