My self-summary
I aim to be continually artistic, optimistic, and polite. If all the world's a stage then I'm the worst actor -- I always think that I'd rather be in the audience clapping along with my favorite people.

I am creative, sincere, and eccentric
What I’m doing with my life
I lead dual lives and I'm very happy with that. In one, I'm an unemployed student with a girlfriend and very nice hopes for the future. In the other, I'm an artist and a thinker -- I want to continually try new things and befriend new people.
I’m really good at
Instigating thought and laughter, creating new things, knowing what I like and what I don't like -- and those are only the good things that I'm good at.
The first things people usually notice about me
My wild and shady eyes complete with curly eyelashes. Also, depending on what it is at that time, my hairstyle.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(a) I really like the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. But don't be put off -- I'm also into more into non-fiction focusing on subjects or thoughts that really intrigue me. My favorite authors are Paul Theroux and Hunter S. Thompson. (b) Recently I really liked The Hours and Wes Anderson's movies. Old favorites include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Koyaanisqatsi, The Shining, and for some reason, Pee-wee's Big Adventure. (c) My taste in music is so varying -- asking me my favorite is kind of pointless because I like alot of music. Right now I'm obsessed with Nellie McKay's "Get Away from Me" and anything Tears for Fears. (d) One of my favorite things is trying new foods. But you can never go wrong with fried catfish, a nice spinach salad, or sushi.
The six things I could never do without
1 - Clean, dry socks 2 - A pencil and a notepad (alternatively a mic and minidisc recorder) 3 - My computer 4 - Some kind of musical instrument that I can play 5 - My bookcase 6 - Me spectacles
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How nice some fresh air is. How good this or that record sounds. Where am I gonna get the money for such and such. I wonder if I should try and get a date with her. How I'm really gonna change things tomorrow. How good the future's got to be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sadly, watching TV, reading, or talking on the phone. I'm looking to change this.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I like to turn up my stereo really loud, then go in another room and pretend that the artist is performing at my house.

You should message me if
You have the slightest inkling of a notion that you'd like to talk to me. I mean, what's the worst that could happen -- you'd get to know one more person in this world?
