My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Guys tend to fill these things out with what they think women want to hear. I'm sure we've all been guilty of it at one time or another. But I'm too old for that, and I can't expect to find someone with similar interests if I'm not being honest with who I here is me in a nutshell...
-I am a huge sports fan. But I am most passionate about football. I bleed for the New York Giants.
-And I can't forget about my love for the New York Yankees, even though they frustrate the hell out of me lately.
-I love going to concerts.
-I enjoy an ice cold beer over a glass of wine.
-I still enjoy a night out at a pub/bar. Reasonably priced drinks, a good live band, and fun people to share it with is still a good night in my book.
-A night cuddled up on the couch with a good movie isn't a bad way to spend a Friday night either.
-I have 2 tattoos, and would like another.
-I tried sushi for the first time a few months ago, and am finding that I was seriously missing out.
-I enjoy cooking, and grilling.
-I love wearing cologne.
-I'm a t-shirt, polo shirt, button down type of a guy.
-I'm an excellent poker player.
-I love a woman in sexy heels, but at the same time, I love it when a woman looks just as sexy in a pony tail, baseball cap & sneakers
-I'm a fan of short girls with curves.
-I try to avoid conversations about religion and politics. They always end up in an argument.
-I'm from Long Island originally, and moved up to Saratoga Springs in March 2012.
-My Long Island accent tends to come out more if I've been drinking, and my tendency to swear increases too(sorry Mom).
-If you don't like a big teddy bear type guy I'm probably not the one for you. I do work out and am trying to lose weight, but I'm still built like a cushion.
-I just shaved my beard off this weekend. I love having it, but I had to get rid of it for the summer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Regarding work, I try to keep developing myself and stay open to opportunities to advance. I was stuck in an office for a long time where there were no opportunities to move up, and it really sucked. I moved up to Saratoga to keep my career going, and now opportunities are aplenty. I don't wanna be that guy in the mid-level position the rest of my life(my dad was that guy), wondering what I missed out on. When another opportunity comes, I'll be ready for it.

My personal life is a work in progress too. I try to spend time doing the things I like to enjoy, but would love to find someone to share those times with. Even if it starts out as a friendship, a person can never have too many friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking - Among other things, I make amazing pancakes. I would love to cook for you sometime. What's your favorite?
-I'm a really good poker player. I can bluff with the best of them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd say my eyes. They are green on the outside and a little brown on the inside. Once you get to know me its my personality for sure that people notice first. I am very good at making new friends and talking to just about anyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I absolutely love music. My tastes can vary, but some of my favorites: O.A.R., Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Imagine Dragons, Passion Pit, Walk the Moon, Two Door Cinema Club, Foster the People, Gary Clark Jr.(<---check him out if you like the Black Keys...his guitar sounds Hendrix like at times). And I can't forget what i grew up on either - 90's alternative, 90's Hip-Hop, and cheesy 80's music

Favorite Movies - Swingers, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Gladiator, The Avengers, Dark Knight, Inception, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Hangover, Braveheart, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, The Departed

TV - The Walking Dead, Dexter, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother (we finally got to see the Mom...EPIC!!), Game of Thrones, The League

Books - I love a good Biography. Most recently I read the Bret Hart autobiography. And I loved the Silver Linings Playbook (actually enjoyed the book more than the movie, which is saying a lot because the movie was great.)

Food - I love a perfectly cooked steak (medium rare...if you like it well done, you should just order the chicken), excellent italian food, and still on the hunt for the best cheeseburger ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Sunday Football - I'm a huge football fan, and bleed Giants blue. Life wouldn't be the same without football in the fall/winter.
2. Live Music/my Ipod - I live for music, to not have it to listen to anymore would be brutal
3. My close friends & family - I love my friends like they are my family, so that's really one in the same.
4. Movies (especially a good comedy)
5. NY style pizza - Originally from Long Island, and I make sure I have some every time I go back to visit.
6. Beer - Nothing beats an iced down cold one on a summer day.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How funny are those AT&T commercials with the kids sitting around a table? I always wonder if its scripted or if they just ask the kids a question and let the kids just run with it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dinner with friends, downtown at a local pub, catching a movie, or taking in a live show.
