My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Guys tend to fill these things out with what they think women want to hear. I'm sure we've all been guilty of it at one time or another. But I'm too old for that, and I can't expect to find someone with similar interests if I'm not being honest with who I here is me in a nutshell...
-I am a huge sports fan. But I am most passionate about football. I bleed for the New York Giants.
-And I have love for the New York Yankees, even though they frustrate the hell out of me lately.
-I love going to concerts.
-I enjoy an ice cold beer over a glass of wine.
-I still enjoy a night out at a pub/bar. Tasty cocktails, a good live band, and fun people to share it with is still a good night in my book.
-A night cuddled up on the couch with a good movie isn't a bad way to spend a Friday night either.
-I enjoy cooking, and grilling.
-I love wearing cologne.
-You'll find me in a polo shirt or button up most days.
-I'm an excellent poker player.
-I love a woman in sexy heels, but at the same time, I love it when a woman looks just as sexy in a pony tail, baseball cap & sneakers
-I'm a fan of short girls with curves.
-I'm from Long Island originally, and moved up to Saratoga Springs in March 2012.
-My Long Island accent tends to come out more if I've been drinking, and my tendency to swear increases too(sorry Mom).
-If you don't like a big teddy bear type guy I'm probably not the one for you. I do work out and am trying to lose weight, but I'm still built like a cushion.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Regarding work, I try to keep developing myself and stay open to opportunities to advance. I was stuck in an office for a long time where there were no opportunities to move up, and it really sucked. I moved up to Saratoga to keep my career going, and now opportunities are aplenty. I don't wanna be that guy in the mid-level position the rest of my life(my dad was that guy), wondering what I missed out on. When another opportunity comes, I'll be ready for it.

My personal life is a work in progress too. I try to spend time doing the things I like to enjoy, but would love to find someone to share those times with. Even if it starts out as a friendship, a person can never have too many friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking - Among other things, I make amazing pancakes. I would love to cook for you sometime. What's your favorite?
-I'm a really good poker player. I can bluff with the best of them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd say my eyes. They are green on the outside and a little brown on the inside. Once you get to know me its my personality for sure that people notice first. I am very good at making new friends and talking to just about anyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I absolutely love music. My tastes can vary, but some of my favorites: O.A.R., Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, The Dirty Heads, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Beastie Boys, Flogging Molly, Gary Clark Jr. And I can't forget what i grew up on either - 90's alternative, 90's Hip-Hop, and cheesy 80's music. Anything on EQX.

Favorite Movies - Swingers, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Gladiator, The Avengers, The Dark Knight, Inception, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Braveheart, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, any of the Marvel movies.

TV - The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones, The League, The Strain, Modern Family, Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds

Books - I love a good Biography. Most recently I read the Bret Hart autobiography and the Mariano Rivera one as well. I've read the first 6 graphic novels for The Walking Dead.

Food - I love a perfectly cooked steak (medium rare...if you like it well done, you should just order the chicken), excellent italian food, and still on the hunt for the best cheeseburger ever. Love me some sushi too!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Sunday Football - I'm a huge football fan, and bleed Giants blue. Life wouldn't be the same without football in the fall/winter.
2. Live Music/my Ipod - I live for music, to not have it to listen to anymore would be brutal
3. My close friends & family - I love my friends like they are my family, so that's really one in the same.
4. Movies (especially a good comedy)
5. NY style pizza - Originally from Long Island, and I make sure I have some every time I go back to visit.
6. Beer - Nothing beats an iced down cold one on a summer day.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Is it time for me to buy a house?
When is my next trip down to LI to visit my family and friends?
Where to go for vacation. Would love to be sipping cocktails poolside at an all-inclusive this winter.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dinner with friends, downtown at a local pub, catching a movie, or taking in a live show.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
-if you like the Giants, or football in general, you should be saying hi to me right now! Or at least shoot me a "like" and I'll reach out to you.
-if movie night in sounds just as good as a night out on the town.
-if you can quote movies, Seinfeld, etc., we should definitely be chatting!
-and if you're an O.A.R. fan, or just love live shows, we will get along famously.
-if you've made it this far, we must have something in common...a short "hi" could be the start of something....friendship, something more? We won't know if you don't click send!
