My self-summary
I used to work in a bookstore and miss it-- mostly because of the people I worked with. On a recent (or not really recent) visit to a bookstore, I also realized I miss being surrounded by books.

I will often microwave something for 55 seconds because I think a whole minute may be overdoing it.

I try to ride my bicycle when it's nice out. I also try when it's cold, but tend to regret it after a few blocks.

I have 8 tattoos and a cat that was a stray, but he lives with me now. I then got another cat who looks like my first cat, but a smaller girl version.

When I took Psychology 101, one of our assignments revolved around asking people we know to give us words that they think best described us. One of my friends said, "Don't take this the wrong way-- like you're a dog or something-- but I'd say 'loyal'." I took it as a great compliment.

INFJ. At least that's what that twelve minute test says I am.

I try to be a person that I'd want to be friends with.
What I’m doing with my life
Every 3rd Friday of the month I have a food club meeting. Maybe.

I've got a weekly card game with some buddies. Bar trivia was becoming a regular thing again, but my friend who was the host passed away.
I've also started working on a podcast (podcast on hold I guess. the recording were being saved on my cohost's laptop and it crashed...)

As a side thing, I make papercraft action figures of various pop culture characters. I sell them at craft fairs/conventions a few times a year.
I’m really good at
making stuff with paper. wrapping presents with grocery store circulars.

I learned how to make cornbread recently. It turned out pretty good.
The first things people usually notice about me
I look younger than my actual age.

Last movie seen in a "theatre": The Dark Crystal

There's a special place in my heart for songs that were in the first Guitar Hero game.
Lately I've been listening to a lot of Warpaint.

food: dim sum, sushi, roast beef sandwiches, falafel sandwiches, biscuits and sausage gravy
I like flour tortillas better than corn tortillas.
The six things I could never do without
Aside from obvious things:
1. blood
2. scissors
4. bees (as a concept, not pets. feel free to have as many of your own. I just think they're too important for me to be in charge of a colony)
5. baboon heart
6. music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stephen Hawking singing Mmm Bop at karaoke.
On a typical Friday night I am
dunno. really has varied lately- working on art stuff, going out with friends, relaxing and watching tv, going out of town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There are three movies that have made me cry: Dead Poet Society, Almost Famous, and Lady in White (mostly because I was pretty young when I saw it and I was afraid some uncle was going to kill me).
You should message me if
You have a bookshelf that has books on it.

You think The Dark Crystal is super creepy, but you'll watch it anyway.

Ultimately, I am on here for a long-term relationship. If romantic involvement isn't in the cards, I don't believe one can have too many friends.
