My self-summary
I was born and raised in southern California. After University, I taught in Korea for awhile then settled in New York, where I'm now teaching high school English.
What I’m doing with my life
Educating myself and others. Auto-didacticism, kid. I'm working on a Master's degree in secondary English education and might one day go back for even more schooling, but for now I am content to take the little money I earn and use it to buy memberships at every good museum, art theater, etc in town.
I’m really good at
Taking care of the people that are important to me. Staying in touch. Writing letters. Finding a good movie. Traveling on a budget without sacrificing experiences.
The first things people usually notice about me
I ride a fat pony everywhere, so probably that. Here's a picture: http://i25.tinypic.com/91chi1.png (H/T Kate Beaton)
