My self-summary
i am an advocate of the underappreciated & a lover of most things & most people. i have high hopes for everything. this is good, in theory, but sometimes gets me into trouble. i also take great pleasure in doing awesome shit.
What I’m doing with my life
remembering all the words to all the best songs, accumulating a lot of miles in my car in search of the perfect place, being awed by birds in flight, walking other people's dogs, making heroes of the mountains & the seas, taking everything apart just so i can put it back together again, being fascinated by trains, & making sure not to forget anything or anyone.

just moved back to tulsa after living in austin, tx for eight years. i am, at once, terrified & elated to be home. i am the nighttime kitchen manager at a steadily growing, mainly vegetarian cafe downtown - this means i keep odd late-night hours, sometimes have to drop plans to make sure things are running smoothly, do not have normal "weekends" (sunday-monday is my weekend), AND can make really, really good food for you/us.
I’m really good at
sitting on porches.

making little things which are of no significance to anyone but me & the people to whom i give them.

being an animal magnet.

photographic memory.

drinking beer. sometimes the fancy kind, but i mostly like lone star.

somehow being equally as incredible at bocce ball as i am awful at bocce ball. (i plan to soon buy a glow in the dark set. it will be bocce time at my place all day, e'ry day. yesplease.)

composing a bonkers good meal from the remnants of your pantry & refrigerator.

giving hugs.
The first things people usually notice about me
that i'm probably pretending not to notice them noticing me.
