My self-summary
I live in Baltimore but am in NYC pretty much every other weekend to see family, friends, games, and bands back home. It's like a dual citizenship deal.

Very easy-going, driven, and creative guy born and raised in the suburbs of Queens, NY. I like hockey (Rangers/Avalanche) and baseball (Mets/O's). Pro wrestling is the best. I'm involved in the DIY punk scene even though (I don't think) I fit a lot of the stereotypes (thankfully). My spiritual godfathers are Michael J. Fox and Vince McMahon.
What I’m doing with my life
Customer service on paper. By nature I'm a writer/producer/promoter but that seems less than true these days. I just relocated from New York City to Baltimore to help figure this out. Check back soon.
I’m really good at
Bringing people together. I love throwing parties and concerts where I can bring two otherwise complete strangers into each other's lives. I won't say I'm a social butterfly, but the people I've let into my life are some of the best you'll ever meet, and I don't mind sharing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This stuff isn't that important to me in terms of matching but...

Books - High Fidelity, The Great Gatsby, Joe College, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, The Rules of Attraction, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Boomsday, Thank You for Smoking

Movies - Back to the Future, Elizabethtown, Clerks, Teen Wolf, High Fidelity, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Can't Hardly Wait, Safety Not Guaranteed, Sleepwalk With Me, Bottle Rocket, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, The Sure Thing, Better Off Dead, Say Anything, Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, Network, Michael Clayton, Thank You for Smoking

TV - Veronica Mars, Freaks & Geeks, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell, The Wonder Years, Scrubs, The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Party Down, Arrested Development, The In-Betweeners, Skins, Community, Undeclared, WKRP in Cincinnati, Spin City, Maron, Smallville, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, 30 Rock, The Office

Music (right now anyway) - I'm currently going through a phase where I'm really into The Gin Blossoms and The Psychedelic Furs. Take that as you may. Otherwise... Saves the Day, Weston, Lanemeyer, The Get Up Kids, The Gaslight Anthem, The Front Bottoms, The Hotelier, Mixtapes, Beach Slang, Rational Anthem, Lipstick Homicide, RVIVR, Allison Weiss, Masked Intruder, Aspiga, Dear Landlord, This Good Robot, The Menzingers, The Replacements, Rilo Kiley, Ben Kweller, Weezer, Limbeck, Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Blink 182, MxPx, The Wonder Years, Latterman, Say Anything, Frank Turner, The Format, fun., Something Corporate, The Monkees, Guns N Roses, The Beatles, Oasis, The Cars, Ke$ha, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, etc.

Food - Cocoa Pebbles, baked ziti, Tex-Mex, anything with avocado.

Again, it's not a necessity that any of this stuff correlates. But I do take my own tastes seriously and am always interested in meeting more people who I can share obscure records and art with. And it does give us something to talk about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Professional wrestling. I know... but we might as well get it out of the way now. Gun to my head, nothing would make me happier than a non-wrestler career with WWE or any other promotion out there. I've been hired as a ring announcer, I read books on the subject, travel for really big shows, digest information surrounding (and have very passionate opinions on) various performers, broadcast teams, production values and promotions from every era within the last 30 years, and most of my best friendships were formed through growing up with sweaty men in tights. It's a veritable live action comic book, a perpetual theatre-in-the-round, and one day I would love to teach a college-level Media Studies course on the psychological cult appeal of the business and the industry-changing gamble that was the first WrestleMania.

If you're lucky, maybe I'll take you sometime.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing a band or staying home to binge on Netflix and WWE Network. I don't know a whole lot of people here yet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm TERRIFIED by raccoons.
You should message me if
I'm gonna be real since you read this far. This city blows as far as online dating goes. In NYC, most of us work in Manhattan, so meeting up for a drink after work really isn't a big deal, even if there's no chemistry. In Baltimore it seems I have to pass a battery of tests before someone I'm talking to on here will want to come into the city to meet up. It's kinda lame.

Don't be lame.
