My love is studying about and teaching consciousness. That has taken the form of studying and teaching courses in conscious living, meditation, yoga, tantra, and qigong. To do this I've lived abroad quite a few years. I love to travel and explore.
I like good conversations, good food, a good wine every now and then, outdoor fun (hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, etc), racquetball, working out, concerts, reading, movies, and music. I think I'll try learning SUP (stand-up paddleboard) next.
I am very different from most people I've met.
I've had some mind-blowing experiences that started when I was a child.
I don't have a smartphone (LOL). I don't have a TV, but I love movies. I don't remember the last time I was on Facebook, and I've NEVER tweeted.
When I'm outside I like to feel and smell, taste, touch and listen - not yack or listen to music.
I like to watch and listen as much I do to talk about things I love.
I'm into Radical Honesty, but I don't like to argue. I do enjoy debating ideas. I'm assertive and yet very open-minded - I might 'switch sides' if what someone is thinking makes more sense than what I thought.
I'm a mix of traditional, progressive, and liberal.
I'm very sensual and think "great sex" is about the soul-to-soul connection that can be experienced; at the same time I love exploring my lover's body and what she likes. To me, a good lover is someone who's good at loving from the inside out.
I used to be a polyamorist until I discovered that my ideas about it put me in a VERY small minority of 'poly' people. (Google polyfidelity).
I basically feel that all organized religion is a perversion of Truth - so I mostly follow Vedic teachings along with some Taoist and Buddhist wisdom. My main spiritual philosophy is called dual non-duality.
I do a practice that has resulted with me being able to be in Union with Source (or the godhead - there's all kinds of names for it). That's changed my whole life and how I live it.
I would really appreciate finding a woman who has the qualities of a true Muse. What do I mean by that? A real Muse is someone who can perceive the potential in another and enjoys actively HELPING that other reach their potential. A true Muse therefore understands the power of honesty, intuition, Love and commitment. A true Muse doesn't take off when there is a 'rainy day', though she might ask me to go get a bigger umbrella!
