Some things I really like: hiking in Marin, skiing in Tahoe, gourmet cooking, long conversations with both tears and laughter, that fiery orange light from the sunrise when I wake up, designing experiences, exploring San Francisco, music that moves me, yoga, dancing, cuddling, kissing, sex, wine tasting, getting lost in a good movie, learning new skills, discovering new ideas, sharing things that are edgy, cats, long hugs, integrity.

At the moment I'm in the middle of some intense training in which I'm really learning to take care of myself: exercising 5 days a week, excellent nutrition, practicing gratitude and mindfulness, and cultivating energy. I feel incredible.

... looking people in the eyes. I'm not talking about a staring contest, but eye-gazing is incredibly important to me.

My shaved head (and fortuitously well-rounded). Many people ask to rub it for good luck.

books: 100 Years of Solitude, John Steinbeck, the Harry Potter series, Life's Little Instruction Manual, David Deida, Seth Godin; books about marketing, productivity, creativity, success, behavioral psychology, mindfulness, somatic psychology, tantra, yoga, and sex. I adore fiction, especially the classics. The last book I read was The Count of Monte Cristo.

movies: Fight Club, The Matrix, Donnie Darko, Lord of the Rings, The Empire Strikes Back, Amelie, Dead Poet's Society, American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Dark Knight, The Departed -- movies that are dark, epic, and/or inspiring

music: diverse; most commonly a mix of pop and electronic; a lot of Dead Can Dance and Delerium lately

food: wow... so many things... sushi, dark chocolate, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, figs, olives, strawberries, brie, homemade bread, .....

paper and something to write with,
people who stay open even when it hurts,
music that takes me places,
books that light fires in my mind,
yoga that fires up my body, and
cats to play with

Shockingly, I have stopped drinking coffee in the morning and dropped it from this list, since I didn't die or curl up into a fetal position. And I still love to grab a cappuccino and chill in a cafe.

I used to have a ponytail. It was hideous.

I'm looking for a girl who is curious and passionate, who is in touch with both her dark and light sides. A girl who is spontaneous and adventurous and romantic, who loves to be stimulated in both mind and body. A girl who is looking for both a partner in crime and a man that can handle her energy.
