My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A desert rat from Arizona, I've traveled here seeking better weather and like-minded individuals.

I can be a bit of an eccentric-goofball from time to time. I enjoy debating religion, politics, and social issues, as well as having general or in-depth discussions about books, video games, D&D, media, computers/technology, and other things. Bar hopping, museums, hikes, night walks/drives, and coffee shops are all fantastic, but so is a quiet night indoors.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently attending PSU and pursuing the most useful degree one can get: an English degree! My dream-job would be becoming an editor for a magazine/website like PCgamer, IGN, Game Informer, etc, and I'm going to try, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I may end up just working at an office job that requires any sort of Bachelor's degree while I try to write the next Great American Novel. Teaching also sounds interesting, but people are scary. We'll see.

Aside from that, I'm currently working at a call center where I take wagers on horse racing. I basically get paid to sit around and read and work on homework and socialize with coworkers for, like, 80% of my day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Writing
- Video games
- Procrastination
- Placing $15,000 worth of bets in a manner of 30 seconds
- Functioning on very little sleep

I also used to be fairly decent at photography, but I haven't seriously picked up a camera since high school.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I had to guess, I'd probably say my glasses and crappy posture, but I suppose you'll have to tell me.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Good company
- Computer/video games
- The Internet
- A pen & paper [rpg]
- A good book
- Coffee/Mountain Dew/other forms of caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- Ideas for short stories
- What the hell I am going to do with an English degree
- Things I would do if I had a ridiculous amount of money
- "Is it too late to go to bed? Maybe I should just stay up..."
- And at certain times of the year: "A Steam sale is happening? Oh god! Someone, quick! Hide my wallet!"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working until 10 pm and then most likely going home and playing video games or watching Netflix until 4 am.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
After falling from a shelf and breaking my leg in two places and fracturing my ankle, I have developed a slight fear of heights... though I still really, really want to go skydiving. Is that weird?
