I just moved to Oakland after living in South Korea for the past year. Before coming back, I spent three months in Budapest and now I'm here, still working for a Korean company, living with a few friends from grad school and enjoying being able to read the labels at grocery stores.

I've always wanted to live in northern california but never had a reason to move here. I still don't have a reason to be here, but I'm glad I finally arrived. I work online; I travel as often as possible, but I just got to Oakland so I've been taking it easy lately; I spend most of my money on plane tickets, food and going to the movie theater. I also like to run, hike or do something active most days of the week. I've never surfed but I want to learn how.

hmmm, I don't know. I just like going to the movies more than really liking a particular type of movie. I read all the time but haven't finished a book in over a year. Mexican food is great, but so is Korean food, and so is pizza and so is eating at greasy diners. I eat healthy but that's just so I don't feel bad when I eat what I really like.

I grew up playing the drums but hardly play now. I still love to see music, especially local acts in small venues, or the occasional music festival. I went to college in New Orleans and never got over how great the music scene is there. I listen to a lot of hip hop, jazz, classical and folk, in no particular order.
