I am an extroverted introvert. I love going out with people and participating in as much as possible up until I'm exhausted and just want a weekend in. I play kickball, run dinner clubs, and organize book clubs.
The beach is my mecca, I could care less about the mountains - unless of course, there is a hot tub and a bottle of prosecco.
Dogs are the one thing that can turn a crappy day happy, well, that and whisky.
I am snarky, energetic, and feisty
What I’m doing with my life
Working and learning. Laughing and joking. Enjoying (almost) every minute of the day.
Beyond that, I am in a bit of a transition and for once I'm not letting myself worry and instead see how things unfold.
I’m really good at
Laughing - trust me you can find me in a crowded movie
Walking in 5 inch heels
Playing kickball (and flip cup) in a tutu
The first things people usually notice about me
My dry sense of humor as it is either is thoroughly enjoyed or goes completely over the other person's head
That I am completely comfortable in my own skin.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Ready Player One, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch; LAMB the story of biff christ's childhood friend (or anything else by Christopher Moore), Game of Thrones, and lots of YA novels. I tend to stay with fiction over non-fiction
Movies: shawshank redemption, the waitress, anything centered around superheros/comic books, cult classics like heather's and saved
tv: Arrested Development, Archer, The Good Wife, Game of Thrones, most stuff on the CW (I'll admit it)
Music: anything that makes me dance - but lately I have become such a country gal
Food: mainly a meat and potatoes kind of gal. Love comfort food. I am a pretty amazing cook, but if you prefer to eat super low-cal stuff, don't ask me to cook for you. I tend to channel my inner Paula Dean when in the kitchen.
The six things I could never do without
Cheese, my patriots jersey, sunglasses, shoe collection, tutus,
green frogs (the gummy candy)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Past events that made me laugh...which then make me laugh...which
make strangers on the T give me funny looks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays are hard - either I am tired from the week and need to stay in a relax. Or I go out with friends in Davis for some bar hopping
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own pi shaped ice cube trays. (read: math nerd) Hey, at least I
answered this question!
Oh, also, I have an irrational fear of moths.
You should message me if
I made you smile. Or you think you can make me laugh.
And if you want to go out for a beer. I'd rather chat in real life than spend weeks messaging back and forth
