Hello
My name is Brian.
I love just about everything outdoors, from hiking/backpacking/camping, to cycling, kayaking and snowboarding. I'm planning on thru hiking the Long Trail in June/July and am super excited. I would like to meet someone that loves hiking, backpacking as well but if you don't, that's okay too.

I worked for an insurance company for 6 years before deciding I didn't want to spend the rest of my life sitting in a cubicle and having a limited impact on others. So I decided to go to college full time and earned my bachelors degree in Marketing from CCSU. I now work for a great company and truly love my job. I'm always looking for new and fun adventures and would like to travel more in the near future.

listening to others, making people happy. Soccer and snowboarding. I enjoy cooking for fun.

I love to read although I don't seem to have a lot of time set aside for it... Some of my favorite authors are Mitch Albom, Thomas Friedman and Malcolm Gladwell.

Favorite movies: A Bronx Tale, Office Space, American History X, Last King of Scotland. I like a lot of documentaries: my favorite tv show is Frontline, and curb your enthusiasm.

I love all kinds of music although I'm not a huge fan of country music. Some favorite bands: Soulive, Lettuce, Mark Knopfler, Martin Sexton, Ani Difranco, John Butler Trio, Incubus, Michael Hedges, etc. I also really love music compositions by Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
