Music was my first love- I used to play bass in a quirky noise-pop band, and I adore listening to all kinds of music- mainly indie-rock, but I'm branching out into African, Japanese electro, classical and jazz. Music is ace! No matter where you are in your life and how many bands you have heard, you can always guarantee that some new band or sound will come along and rescue you.

I'm finishing my degree in Philosophy. About time after 3 years of doing nothing! I just have to write my thesis. It's not due in 'till January, so I've got time right now to edit my profile. Watch this space!

I'm saving up to go travelling. I have visited some fantastic countries before, but never been away from England for any significant length of time. I want to leave! It would be great to meet someone beautiful on the other side, or take someone with me :o)

I have a day job which requires a certain amount of technical knowledge, but also humility! Sometimes I have to cheerfully carry boxes for people who can easily do it themselves. It builds character.
