My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a professional writer. I ride motorcycles and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I'm learning to sail. I like working out and taking naps.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm trying to say yes more often.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Ping pong I guess. I'm pretty fucking good at ping pong.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Man, that guy looks like he wants to leave."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: My favorite authors right now are Kurt Vonnegut, Ernest Hemingway, Charles Bukowski and Hunter Thompson. My favorie book of all time is probably Moby Dick. Probably... It changes pretty frequently.

Movies: I don't really stay up to date on movies, but I generally enjoy whatever I'm watching. That being said though, Jaws is objectively the best movie of all time.

TV: I don't watch much TV, but I like documentaries about space, math or ancient aliens. I have a weird affinity for 90's "adult" cartoons like Dr. Katz and Duckman. I've also seen every episode of Seinfeld more times than I'd like to admit.

Music: Pretty broad tastes here. Recently I've been listening to old Modest Mouse, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Titus Andronicus, Bomb the Music Industry and Run the Jewels... and Death Grips. Always Death Grips.

Food: I'm a vegetarian, but I mean, whatever. I don't care what other people eat. I really like Pad Thai. Pizza is a close second.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books: My library is finally starting to get pretty respectable.
Computer: A lot of my friends live abroad, and it's important for me to stay in touch.
Jiu Jitsu: I like to stay active, and grappling is a really great way to do that.
Coffee: I definitely need coffee. I drink about 6 to 8 cups a day.

How many is that? Six? Sure.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Writing, probably. I'm "working on a novel" in my spare time... in the way that every writer is working on a novel.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
A while ago the answer to this would definitely have been "at some shitty bar," but these days I'm trying to do more interesting things. So I'll say camping or taking a road trip.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is a dumb prompt. I don't really keep secrets. If you want to know something, ask.

If you need something embarrassing though, I really like professional wrestling.

It bugs you that these prompts don't have colons after them.

Or if you just feel like talking. If you made it this far, you're probably pretty cool.
