My self-summary
Paul D. Crittenden, super-genius. (see, that's a joke - the coyote never got the roadrunner... get it?)

I'm just this guy, right?

I like stories, whether they be in books or movies or television or around a campfire or whatever. And I like to analyze those stories and deconstruct them into their smallest little bits to see what makes them whatever they are. Oh, and I like to write stories also. I suppose I'm a lit dork.

Music is also very important to me. I can't stand most of what passes for top-40 pop these days. I enjoy the journey of finding bands for myself instead of letting MTV or the radio find them for me. Most of what I'm into could be considered indie I suppose, but I don't really think much about the label. If it's good I'll listen to it.

I'm a sucker for girls who are smarter than me, especially if they can suggest a good book that I've never read or a good movie I haven't seen or a band I haven't heard.

I am well-read, cautiouslyoptimistic, and compassionate
