The classics: Altman, Billy Wilder, Welles (who made some other good movie beside Citizen Kane), Kubrick (who could make Tom do Nicole), Bergman, Copolla (FF ‘cause talent always jumps a generation) and the newcomers Lars von Trier (for Dogville not for the film with the girl that came to the Oscar dressed in a goose with an egg), Philip Kaufman, (specially for The Right Stuff), Todd Field, Jose Juan Campanella (with the wonderful Hijo de la Novia), the oscillating Woody Allen (when not pretending to be serious), Almodóvar (by Mujeres… only), Alejandro Iñarritú (fantastic in Amores Perros, good in 21 Grams and... in Babel I think he was negotiating his greencard) and the curious Marc Foster, Christopher Nolan (with the formula "if it is not working edit it backwards for the front"). Eisenstein, perhaps the most influential... Dogma 95 and Nouvelle Vague
When it comes to food, I'm always ready to try something new. That comes with traveling. People who survived my cooking said they liked it. I love an outstanding espresso, good wines and interesting teas, but they are worthless without a good company.
