I'd like to think I am a pretty laid back easy going down to earth guy. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and have no problem looking silly to make someone laugh. I try not to take life too seriously as it's too short to be all stressed out all the time but I do know when it's important to be so.

I love games of all sorts and can get pretty competitive. My favorites in no particular order are scrabble, ticket to ride, settlers of Catan, risk, and stratego. I am fairly intelligent and can hold up my end of most conversations. Not to mention kick your butt at trivial pursuit. I love playing and watching most sports, though Football is by far my favorite. I'm a huge New England Patriot fan and would love to find someone to watch games with. I also LARP four weekends a year (major brownie points if you know what that is without looking it up)

One of the things I love about New England, and why i could not imagine living anywhere else, is the constantly changing seasons. I love swimming and hitting the beach during the summer and then going to the slopes for some skiing during the winter. I gotta admit the little kid in me still gets excited every year for the first snowflakes of the winter.

I have a four year old son whom I adore and spend tons of time with. He's the best thing in my life and is the cutest lil boy ever... if I do say so myself. He loves rough housing and getting tickled and I spend lots of time obliging him.

Wanting to get to 1,000 words I made all of the contractions into two words and I still haven't gotten it so now I am adding some meaningless stuff cuz the competitor in me wants 100% profile completion. If your still reading this paragraph you can stop now because it has nothing to do with who I am as a person. Well except for the fact that I can get really competitave at times and the sort of things I find funny I guess. Either way your really can stop reading this section because at this point I'm just adding to my word total.

I am funny, loyal, and literal

I worked in a commercial print shop for seven years and when they went out of business i decided to go back to school to get my teaching degree. I got custody of my son about the same time so six classes and raising him keep me busy

Giving massages or so I've been told. I worked with my hands a lot so they're pretty strong.

Big and tall... I played football in high school and it shows I guess. I have also been told my smile, I have kind of a quirky smile but I use it a lot because I find alot about life amusing.

I read a lot of books, mostly sci-fi or fantasy. Though I do enjoy a good thriller every once in a while. Some of my favorite series are Wheel of Time, Harry Potter, Sword of Truth, and I've loved everything Tom Clancy I've picked up.

Movies vary, I'll watch just about anything though tend to avoid horror flicks. A top 5 movies list in no particular order Braveheart, Princess Bride, Star Wars Trilogy (the original ones back when George Lucus was a genius not a special effects greedy hollywood asshat, and yes I count them as one movie), Lord of the Rings (hey it's my list I can count trilogies as one), Spaceballs, and Southpark.

Music is one of my loves in life, I'm always singing, humming, or whistling. I played the cello for 10 years growing up. I'll listen to just about anything that's not country ranging from Musicals "Wicked" and "Avenue Q" to Rock "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Green Day" to Classical "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" and "Pacabel's Canon" to Pop "Payphone" and "Pink" and even a little bit of Rap.

As long as it isn't green I'll probaly eat it, my favorites include lasanga, pizza, burgers, and chicken. And ok to set a good example for my son I have been eating some green things lately
