My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey I just joined this thing so I'm still figuring things out. A few things about me hmm...I'm pretty much an LA native; been here since the age of three. What does that mean? I'm rather laid back, tan, and I say "dude" more often than I'd like to admit. I strive to be well cultured without being a pretentious douche about it. I just think that it's important to be mindful of what's going on outside of your bubble. I'm more about the big picture than the small details so that would explain the rather vague paragraph that you've just read.

Things that get me disproportionately excited; airports, comic book movies, dogs, board games, live music, free food, new balance shoes, and aquariums.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
ordering food in foreign languages, telling the difference between tapatio and cholula, creating an organized mess, problem solving, Settlers of Catan, and making mac n' cheese that's not from a box.

Books: I've been on a Tom Robbins kick lately. Still Life with Woodpecker, Jitterbug Perfume, and World War Z are some recent favorites.

Music: Wilco, The Smiths, Pixies, Beatles, The National, Radiohead, Spoon, Andrew Bird, Broken Bells, New Pornographers, Arcade Fire, Iron and Wine, Beck, My Morning Jacket, Elliott Smith, David Bowie, Flaming Lips, Al Green, Beach Boys, Classical

Movies: Office Space, Empire Strikes Back, Eternal Sunshine, Ghost World, Boogie Nights, Rear Window, Wild Bunch, Nightmare Before Christmas, Sixteen Candles, Spirited Away, Memento

TV: Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, Freaks and Geeks, Colbert Report, random Food Network and PBS shows, Futurama. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE tells me that it's essential that I watch Breaking Bad. Perhaps when everyone shuts up about it, I'll give. I just finished up The Wire. What an AMAZING show.

Food: love it all...ethnic, comfort, with or without cheese

my next meal. When I'm not thinking about food, I think about EVERYTHING else. Anything from does this shirt make me look fat to the unfathomable immensity of the universe. Well hot damn! The human mind is the most fascinating thing and I revel in imagining, perceiving, and analyzing anything and everything.

Oh, and the fake mustache craze and how we can end it.

You're unpretentious, have a nerdy quality or two, not sickeningly nice but in a snarky sort of way, and you might like me. You're not a member of a cult. In LA, that includes Crossfit and Scientology.
