My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I know how to use a machete. 'Nuff said.

No, but really...
Thanks for checking out my profile. I'm a friendly, fun-loving, sincere person who's also thoughtful and curious about the world around me.

I also possess an eclectic set of experiences and qualities. I'm a first-generation American, and as American as I am at the end of the day, I still try to be in tune with my culture and incorporate the respective values I feel speak to me. I tend to do whatever I think suits the situation at hand, which I think makes me more of a free spirit, if anything, and this has led to some random, but cool, experiences. I've eradicated rats on a remote island in the Pacific and gone night sledding in Switzerland, among other things. Then there was the time I had to take the bus to the outskirts of Chicago to pick up my booted car...

I also enjoy planning and organizing outings/events with friends, being active, and plugged into what's going on in the city. My friends say I should start a blog on DC events because they'd actually be using it to plan their social lives. Checking out live music (Jenny Lewis was awesome!), festivals, talks (Khaled Hosseini, what what), outdoorsy events (Great Falls, yeah!), and places unique to DC (the Embassy Tour rocked!) are on my list. Getting different perspectives is important to me; I like getting to know people from different backgrounds and immersing myself into other cultures.
