I am a genuine person who loves people. My relationships with my family and friends, both old and new are the most important things to me. None of us are perfect, but I appreciate people who try to do their best most of the time. There is nothing better than a good sense of humor and I am a total sucker for someone who can make me laugh (often)! Life is short.. So I try my best not to stress about the small stuff. I am trying to act on my dreams and build the best life I can (one awesome experience at a time). I am very social, but hate being the center of attention. Traveling to places both, near and far is something that I love to do. I think the different experiences we get from traveling open our eyes and hearts in a way nothing else can. Getting a rise out of someone through "healthy" debate excites me and I appreciate other people's opinions. Cooking for others and entertaining are two of my favorite things. Being in a room full of happy people that I cherish makes me smile. While I can get dolled up and love doing so, I can just as easily sit in the dirt by a campfire any day of the week (although easier done on weekends) :)

I recently graduated from pastry school and am looking forward to having a little social time back. Working full time and going to school three days a week took a toll on the last six months of my life, but it was an amazing experience! I'm now focusing on trying to land an externship, but in the meantime, trying to have as much fun as I can. Getting out of town, listening to live music, visiting with friends, trips to see my family... Being outdoors, drinking wine and eating good food. I am also trying very hard to get back into the city. Spend a lot of my time there and love all that it has to offer!

I am the social organizer in almost ever circle of my life. I am good at putting people at ease, making them laugh and trying to (almost always) look on the bright side of things. I know the lyrics to almost any song after I've heard it a time or two (gift?), but artists names...I need help with. I enjoy listening to people and am a good sounding board for many of my friends. Keeping an open mind is something I consciously work on and I think it shows :)

My height and my smile if we are talking physically. I'm not a giant, but I do love heels so on most days I'm about 6'1 with the shoes. Apparently that's tall for a girl?!?! :)

I've never been much of a book reader. My coffee table is covered with food, wine and travel magazines, but definitely couldn't list any recently read books. However, my favorite book is Frankenstein.
One of my top movies is 500 Days of Summer. I also have a tendency to watch A Christmas Story repeatedly during the month of December.
Love, love, love most kinds of music. Seeing music performed live is one of my favorite things to do. I don't often have the TV on, but when I do I can't help but watch two things: Food Network (CHOPPED!) and really bad reality TV (RHW of..) Music is playing all the time and when it's not I am usually or singing to myself.
Food.. well.. I'll try almost anything once. My favorite kind of food is probably Mediterranean, but I'd hate to rule anything out. Trying new places and eating new things is super fun!

Out of the house.. Either at dinner, drinks, shows, etc... I have a hard time sitting around doing nothing. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy dinner and movie marathon nights at home but I do enjoy being with my friends making memories.

I sucked my thumb until I was way too old to be doing so. Then paid the price by having to wear head gear for a few years... Good thing I stopped before I signed up for this.. :)
