My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
- I'm swiss/american, but was born in Thailand (it's a long story)
- I love sports and doing anything and everything outdoors
- Staying fit (bike, run, swim, work out, etc.), but can't ever top it off with a reasonably healthy diet (bad food is too good)
- Big sports fan - DC teams are who I root for, and kinda jumping on the SF bandwagon because the teams here are so damn good
- I'm probably more of an introvert, but really dislike being alone for too long and can play the extrovert when necessary
- I try to say yes to as much as possible
- Play piano casually - Liszt and Chopin are my favs
- I love nerdy, political or otherwise intellectual conversations - if you want to know about solar I'll happily talk for hours, and if you want to talk about the debt ceiling i'll unhappily talk for hours.
- I've traveled and lived all over, but that's just given me more ideas for places to go - top of the list: Turkey, Galapagos, Amazon
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished my mba at Berkeley last yr. Lived in Shanghai until Oct, now back in SF.

Trying to revamp my wardrobe, which probably needs a little bit of help. Love scarves as accessories, but feel a little weird wearing them out sometimes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Eating very very slowly yet walking very quickly
Excel shortcuts (quick, what's alt+e+s+v ... too easy huh)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book: Catch-22, Pillars of Earth, Shogun, Gone with the Wind, Hawaii, Les Mis, Game of Thrones (I couldn't wait and now I'm completely left hanging). I love epics!
Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Dumb and Dumber, The count of monte cristo, American History X, Good Will Hunting, It's a Wonderful Life, Pretty Woman, Super Troopers, Boondock Saints, Thomas Crown Affair, Usual Suspects, What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Shows: Seinfeld (best show ever? ...Yes), Wire (If it had gone on longer, would have been the best show), Game of Thrones, Arrested Development, Daily Show, Planet Earth, Downton Abbey
Music: Alternative/indie for a base, but I'll alternate between classical, pop, r&b, rock, etc.
Food: Ben & Jerry's Half Baked, hunan cumin ribs, chipotle, raclette, family recipe mac & cheese, crepes, etc. etc. I want to try pretty much everything and like most things - except jellyfish, which is my nemisis.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Gonna try going beyond fam, friends, internet, etc.:
- ESPN (I just love sports...)
- Grease (butter, oil, crisco, basically any kind of fatty goodness)
- The simple things that you rarely appreciate and are so awesome when you do (cool side of the pillow, fresh cut grass, etc.)
- Crazy travel destinations and the amazingly friendly people there
- Sleeping (no explanation needed)
- Comedy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do all cuisines not offer tapas style - why not mini samplers of all sorts of italian, american, mexican, etc.

Sharing food is necessary in the meantime until this idea is realized!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
All sorts of things - drinks with friends, theater (love musicals - Wicked is the best), dinner party, drinking games, out in nature, trying to find some chinese restaurant in a little alley that's cheap but awesome (and has pictures on the menu - if you know of such a place, please let me know!), being lazy at home in my coke PJs watching bad TV that my roommates got me hooked on like Big Brother.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't drink coffee.
I think maps are super cool.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like to laugh and be silly and sarcastic, you can hold your own at both a wild party and carry an intelligent conversation, you're spunky, love to be outdoors and are generally a happy person.

Initially looking to see if there's a spark and connection and would love to find something longer term. Also, even though girls don't message first much, if you're confident enough, one liners suck just as much for guys as they do for you, so no "how are you" intros please :) Really, just write something - weird and quirky is awesome!
