I know a little bit about a lot of things; I like Spanish wines; I
remember details; I'm a little perverted; I'll take a
camping/hiking trip any day; I ask inappropriate questions
sometimes/often; I'm great at a: Holiday Party/Wedding/Family
get-together; I miss the whole NYC 'walking' thing but I've become
an aggressive driver...; I prefer to keep a hand-written planner to
an electronic device; I'm good at arguing; I like to travel. A lot;
Your parents will love me; I prefer to not drink drip coffee; I'm
kind of a "middle of the road" gay; I cross my 7's and z's; I was
raised right; I love a gift bag; You can judge me by the company
that I keep; Black girls love me.
I'd say im a pretty good guy. No, really, I would.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a comedian. No, for real, I am.
I also teach high school history- being funny doesn't always pay the bills. I like to challenge my students and make them think beyond textbooks and question the world around them and the things that they have been taught. In doing so, I find that I learn more than they do.
I’m really good at
Sending a thank-you note and charming parents. I'm also a great
The first things people usually notice about me
I have nice legs and a quick wit. I know what I know....The rest-
it's anyone's guess.
I'm the guy who will say what everyone else is thinking but won't
say... (it sometimes gets me accolades, sometimes gets me into
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- I like a good biography. I was an Anthro major, so any good ethnography gets me, too. I'm in a book club, don't judge me, so the past year or so, my pleasure reading has been dictated for me.
Movies- whatever's clever...(I've never seen Star Wars, however)
Music- My itunes runs from A-Z ( I seriously have every letter covered. I'll let you check)
Food- I could eat Indian every day, though I've never gone wrong with a good burger
The six things I could never do without
a non-fat latte, chapstick, a passport, good wine, someone to make
me laugh, dental floss
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things I shouldn't be thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Either performing, spending a quiet evening at home in sweats and
wearing my glasses with some wine and a movie, or having dinner
(* while I like going out, its become less and less important in my
life. I'd take some good friends, a nice meal and some wine and
conversation any night)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't like to make decisions. I don't really care what we eat for dinner. If I don't like it, I'll speak up. But, in general, I'd prefer you to do the dirty work. You'll know if I'm not pleased.
You should message me if
I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing. I don't really have a plan,
other than seeing what can happen without having a plan. You should
probably be up for that too.
