I am looking for someone to enjoy the ride with. I am an easy going kind of fellow and am always willing to see another point of view. Would rather communicate then argue. I am kind, considerate and unassuming. I love to share what I love. I can explode with excitement or joy when reaching a summit and standing in a field of wildflowers, see a magnificent sunset. Yes! I do my best to stay fit with diet and exercise. If live to be 100 I want to enjoy the journey, to be able to run across the finish line! And the season is here to hike, bike and drive to the wide open spaces! Do my best to have an attitude of gratitude. I love living in the NW and am at my best on a mountain trail, on a long bike ride or having a cup of strong coffee at the Dog River Coffee CO. in Hood River. When the weather is good, I'm exploring. I also love my city. I moved here from NYC in 1980 and I am still excited about living in PDX. I work hard, am dependable and pay all of my bills on time. Yippee! I am gentle yet masculine. I am social but value quiet and alone time. Sensitives, compassionate. Politically, I lean hard left. I am all about fairness, social justice, a hope for a better world.

Bluegrass to Big Band. Joni Mitchel and James Taylor touch my soul, I could listen to Blue and Sweet Baby James daily. Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Sinatra, Ella, The Beatles, Doors, Squeeze, Stevie Wonder, old soul, Lois Prima, Buddy Clark, Pavarotti... Any artists from this century, you might ask? Amos Lee? If the music sounds like a chainsaw or the vocals have no melody, Ill pretty much pass. If I have the TV on at all, Im watching PBS News Hour, Antiques Roadshow, or some historical documentary...Big Bang is pretty funny stuff. Portlandia on hulu.
