My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m fairly new to Portland and the PNW. I place high value on life experience and living in the moment. This phase in my life is as exciting as any other.

My feet are most comfortable moving along a trail (do you have a sexy pair of high top hikers?) or around the streets of Portland. Working out to stay fit is part of my weekly routine and I lead a healthy foods lifestyle.

I didn’t grow up in a religious household but my Mom regularly preached honesty and fairness and I was the avid follower. Animal rights and environmental issues are really important to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was self-employed as a consultant in the construction industry for many years in California. I've walked away from that career and have opened a studio in the health and wellness industry in the Tanasbourne area of Hillsboro.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I seem to have this fixation with home renovation going back to my teen years. From retaining walls to field stone patterns to changing out windows and a complete kitchen to laying hardwood floors. I’ve done a lot of home projects.

If you find a dance floor and put on some dance-oriented funk/r&b/soul/pop/etc.....lead the way (I was a club DJ in my college years so my nightclub roots are quite deep).

My hands are good at making your feet feel wonderful....among other things! And I make a totally mean French toast!!!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Wouldn't know their thoughts but I’ve found people in the Portland area to have a very genuine spirit. I seem to fit right in.

I love music in a big way and a big variety (live and recorded). Indie rock, world beat, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Foster the People, Ting Tings, Silversun Pickups, Broken Bells, Lily Allen, Rufus and Chaka Khan, Brothers Johnson, classical music…

I’ve enjoyed a lot of HBO series like Deadwood and Flight of the Conchords. Currently on a Dexter marathon.

Love a well shaken margarita served "up" in a salted martini guacamole, mexican food and italian and thai and seafood and sushi and pizza and the freshest veggies available.

Currently reading The Power of Now. Read the Oregonian daily.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I couldn’t live, my hikers on a new trail, my morning double-shot cappuccino, a good bottle of wine to share, bodies of water and wildlife.

Just missing the cut......Green Bay Packer football!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
That sensitive sweet spot on a woman's neck.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happiest ending the work week with Happy Hour Friday in downtown PDX or a quiet evening making dinner, trying a new wine and talking life with someone special.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Something I find totally sexy.......if you come closer, I’ll whisper it in your ear.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Are you fit, sincere, honest and thoughtful? Do you have a flirtatious side in your relationships?

If you have a wide range of music interests and enjoy hiking, that would be a big plus.

My new philosophy on life.....there are people who left for work this morning who didn't make it home. Live for today. Live the moment. LTR's are wonderful, but I'm not on that kind of mission. If it happens great (I'm not out to stop it). If it doesn't, I'm sure the journey will be memorable. Let's just enjoy the moment!
