My self-summary Propose an edit

I am a cheerful, upbeat, person who loves to laugh and joke around. I don't like head-games and refuse to play them. I am responsible and mature, but everybody is a kid at heart, so when time allows I spend it joking around and laughing, being sarcastic and silly! Although I have to admit that I can be a homebody, I am easily motivated to get out and have fun (smiles). Being a people-pleaser, I am a great listener as well as a conversationalist (hehe). I also need to add that I am in a wheelchair (I have a form of MD called Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2). Not that it means the world, but it is what it is. What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

When not working ... I enjoy many aspects of life. Sit me in front of a good movie, put a book in my hands, play some music, or engage me in a great conversation ... I'm happy! I enjoy art and am an artist myself. I adore animals, and I love my funny little birds. Friends are an essential part of life, and I cherish mine! Family is very important to me ... when all else falters, they are there. I am fiercely loyal to those I hold dear, both friends a family!

Crossing my eyes! ;o) No, but seriously ... I am an artist ... I enjoy drawing, be it by hand or on the computer. I am also good at researching things. If there is something I want to know (or someone has asked me), I am determined to find the answer!

Usually it's my eyes! I am also told how sweet I am (though I'm not sure how true that is)!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

(A) A set of books by Anne Rice - The Witching Hour, Lasher, & Taltos. The Sookie Stackhouse Series (by Charlaine Harris). So far I have read the first 4 books of Shannara (by Terry Brooks). And another great series, which would definitely recommend is the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon.

(B) My Favorite movies, just to name a few are: Dirty Dancing, the Patriot, Mists of Avalon, Pretty Woman, (the Molly Ringwald trilogy)- Pretty in Pink, Sweet Sixteen, & the Breakfast Club; the Matrix, the Lord of the Rings, the Wedding Singer, X-Men, Working Girl, Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Van Helsing, the Joy Luck Club, Pirates of the Caribean, Chicago, the Other Sister, the Last Samuri... I could go on but I think you get the idea! ;o)

(C) I have very eclectic taste when it comes to music ~ Alternative, Big Band/Swing, Blues, Classic Rock n' Roll, Classical, Country, Disco, Hard Rock & Metal, Jazz, Latin, Modern Rock n' Roll, Oldies, Pop/Top 40, Showtunes, Soul/R&B, Soundtracks (but the 80's ROCK!) lol
