I am excitable, talkative, and a grand time.

My Self-Summary

Hey there! A couple friends of mine who met on this site and have been dating for almost a year now turned me onto OK Cupid so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've dated several guys in the recent past and none of them have worked out. They were all nice, decent people, we just weren't right for each other so more than anything I'd like to find somebody on here that I have a connection with.

I've been in Harrisburg about 4 years and I have a decent circle of friends here. We like to go to the movies or concerts, have a game night, go play pool or just chill on the couch and watch TV or play Wii] or talk.

What I’m doing with my life

I have 3 jobs, 2 kittens and 1 roommate, who is one of my best friends. I could write much more here, but I'd rather you read the rest of my profile. If you don't think we have anything in common or that I'm an interesting person, who cares what I'm doing with my life?!? If you think I am someone you'd like to get to know, then we have plenty of time for me to tell you about my life.

I’m really good at

Singing, writing (stories and in my diary, not songs or poetry) and I'm told being a good friend. Apparently, I'm a good listener, but I question that constantly.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'd say people notice first that I'm extremely outgoing.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I'm not so much of a book reader, more magazines (EW, Rolling Stone, Blender, Spin), but a couple favorite books are Catcher In The Rye and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

Movies: In the recent past, I started trying to see more than 100 movies per year. Netflix is my bff. Among my favorites are The Wizard Of Oz, Back To The Future, That Thing You Do!, Jerry Maguire, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. As far as more recent movies, you could add Dreamgirls, Juno, Wall-E, Knocked Up, The Pursuit Of Happyness and Mean Girls to that list.

TV: Sitcoms are my favorite. I could always watch an episode of The Simpsons, Friends, The Office, Roseanne, or Everybody Loves Raymond. I also love The Daily Show, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, American Idol, Millionaire, and am obsessed with LOST.

Music: Modern rock/pop and 80s are my favorites, but my taste ranges from KoRn and Theory Of A Deadman to Kelly Clarkson and Pink. I'm one of those people who can find something to like in pretty much every genre. Favorites include Pearl Jam, Coldplay, Green Day, U2, Alanis Morissette, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Madonna, My Chemical Romance, The White Stripes, Rihanna... the list could go on for hours.

Food: Potato chips are my weakness, as are bacon cheeseburgers. I also love cheese. I think it makes just about everything better. If you're not a vegetarian, I will make you a bacon & cream cheese sandwich if you hang out with me long enough. If you are a vegetarian, then we can dip corn fritters in warm cheddar cheese.

The six things I could never do without

1. My ipod/music in general
2. My friends
3. The Simpsons
4. My family
5. Bacon cheeseburgers
6. The ability to make lists

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What my Top 5 or Top 10 of certain things are... "Simpsons" episodes, Bon Jovi songs, movies about high school, anything really. Think John Cusack's character in "High Fidelity" with his top 5 lists. Other than making random lists in my mind, I spend a ton of time thinking about the future and where I see myself and the kind of person I might see myself with.

On a typical Friday night I am

If I'm not working, I'm typically out with my friends either at the movies or dinner or the pool hall or just hanging out at one of our houses watching TV or having a game night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have a thing for chubby guys.

You should message me if

I sound at all interesting to you. I'm very open so ask any question you might have.
