My self-summary
Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
What I’m doing with my life
Have run a few successful businesses and some not so so successful. Did the honest thing last year and sold up my entire life and ran away to Spain in a white van with all my life in the back. Found it was too hot, too many English people and so came back this year and am now hot on the tail of a great new role in the digital world. Things are looking bright. England ain't that bad really :-)
I’m really good at
Talking shite, learning new stuff that probably doesn't even matter in the big scale of things. Drinking beer. Pretending to be a wine expert but only really for the first glass. Giving my mates bad advice. Taking life un-seriously. Not really caring what anyone thinks about the above.
The first things people usually notice about me
I talk fast, I talk quite a lot and didn't they see me in that pub down the road yesterday?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Charles Dickens (really...try's very funny and the epitome of sarcasm), Dan Brown (the obituary of), famous people's autobiographies (Winston Churchill was a bit of a alcoholic self obsessed wanker but he didn't do a bad job all said and done eh?) and too many other books to menton, esoteric and otherwise.
.......oh..the true story about the guy who goes to the Amazon jungle finds a tribe of cannibalistic homoesexuals and spends a year getting it on with them. I think that one falls into the esoteric category.

Fav film : Pretty Woman....I know... but it's fun, cute and life affirming.

Thai every day of the week.....that's in the 'food' category for the avoidance of doubt, but I'm keen if you thought differently.

Music : Classical and Dance music are genre siblings in my opinion. I can listen to most things apart from country and western and of course all the other stuff I don't like.
The six things I could never do without
Well, I just did a six month experiment of this when I moved to a remote and unconnected village in Spain with almost no money. Before this my list may have been as follows (in no particular order)

1) Internet
2) a car
3) a local pub
4) mobile phone
5) my friends
6) money in the bank

After six months of living with very little, my list has changed.... (In a particular order)

1) My family
1) My family
2) My friends
3) Food
4) My health
5) Just enough money to enable 1-4 above satisfactorily
6) Internet (yeah, well some things are just critical eh?)

Thanks to OKcupid for asking this question because it made me think. I think i knew this change had happened but this is the first time I have put my humbling experience into words.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People, I guess I spend a lot of time thinking about people. People close to me and people I don't even know.

Irrelevant why is that stone rounded and the other one a bit pointy? Who invented glass and why? Why are ants more socially intelligent than humans? Is our 'modern' technology even at the evolutionary stage of the amoeba yet? (think about that one....).

Are the stars really that far away? Well, yeah they are...but really? How can we conceive that distance and complexity? We can't. That's truly humbling....when you think about it.

So best not to dwell on all this on a day to day basis. Just keep calm and carry on - hmmmm. [comment needs attention]
On a typical Friday night I am
Celebrating the fact I had a great week and looking forward to Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I got into bed naked with my best mates mum.

Gladly not as you may expect. Beer is Bad!
You should message me if
You would like to meet a new friend - that's fine....all the old ones are boring me now ;-)
