Just moved to LA from SF. I guess you could say I'm "mixing it up."

Still figuring things out, but maybe you can show me around!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Landing on my feet. Breaking things (and fixing them).

We'll tackle music first.

According to, I'm really into The Pharcyde, Panda Bear, Slum Village, Animal Collective, Com Truise, Warren G, Washed Out and J Dilla, though I'm also into The Beach Boys, Daft Punk, Joan of Arc, Wu Tang Clan, Ty Segall, Best Coast, Wavves, Toro Y Moi, Ryan Adams, Real Estate, Ducktails, Nas, Tanlines, Four Tet, Kanye West, The Zombies, The Clash, The Flying Burrito Bros, etc. I used to be way into Punk/Metal/Hardcore/etc way back in the day, but rather than list every band I've ever heard, I'll just say I can handle most music.

As far as TV goes, I pretty much just watch Curb, Seinfeld reruns, Arrested Development and The Soup. I'm also really into Justified and The Americans right now.

I feel like I've got terrible taste in movies, unfortunately, but I'm currently trying to watch a bunch of really great movies that I'm making my friends suggest (I'm also working my way through the Criterion collection at the moment). I do, however, like some of the obvious ones, I suppose; namely The Big Lebowski, High Fidelity, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Taken (SO AWESOME), The Dark Knight, Dirty Work, The Jerk, most (if not all) Mel Brooks flicks, The Blues Brothers, Ghost Busters, Caddyshack, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, American Beauty... (I'll keep updating this as time goes on).

In regards to books, I love reading, but I have a nasty habit of starting a book, putting it down, and then it's lost to this terrible death pile of books that I don't finish. Out of books that I've finished, I've really enjoyed Cat's Cradle, Down and Out in Paris and London, God Bless You Dr. Kevorkian, the Steve Jobs biography, The Smiths: Songs That Saved Your Life. Currently, I've got the following on the death pile: Retromania: Pop Culture's Addiction to its Own Past, Catch-22 and The Great Gatsby

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Coffee
2. Music
3. Sandwiches
4. Bike
5. The city
6. Other bike

(Not particularly in this order except coffee)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Probably the same things that Larry David thinks to himself.

Where I should ride my bike.

How I can wake up next to a huge pile of cash and a stack of grad degrees.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've got a weird obsession with Will Smith, though I find his Twitter feed immensely annoying.
